Proof me wrong, but to do so, find more than the words of Paul in the New Testament to prove me wrong. The Hebrew law says a matter must be established by two or three witnesses. Rapture proponents have only one witness, and even the author of the book of Revelation clarified my position.
The Christian will not be rescued away from the earth, away from tribulation, to a place in the heavens. Peter, James, John, Paul, and even Yeshua (Jesus) were not rescued. Your holiness and sanctification cannot be more than theirs.
Ten Roman Caesars killed so many people who believed in Yeshua, and you don’t deserve preferential treatment. You haven’t prayed more or done anything better than them. Agreed? Yes!
Adam was given a job in the garden. Your duty is here, outside of the garden, to help make your house, street, village, city, state, and country a copy of the New Jerusalem. If you haven’t grasped that yet, you didn’t pay attention to every prophet in the Old Testament telling you this. You also didn’t pay attention to the words and parables of Jesus.
If you are a follower of Yeshua (Jesus), you are meant to be a light. No one lights a light and puts it under a bowl or under the table. What does it mean? You are meant to be the representative of the Kingdom of Heaven in your house, street, village, city, state, country, and workplace.
Why? The world is covered in darkness. Open the TV, pick up the newspaper, turn on the radio, go to the hospital wards, or listen in on counseling sessions, and you will find out how bad it is.
You are to bring wisdom, knowledge, and understanding to help build your world into a heaven on earth. You are the salt of the earth, not the salt of heaven.
When Israel needed protection, they raised an army. When they needed protection, they built city walls. When they needed water, they built a system to bring in water. When they needed riches, they went to Egypt, bought horses, made chariots, and sold them. All these are in the same Bible.
Have we come to praying, fasting, giving offerings, seeds, and tithes more than the actual work of being a light and the salt of the earth?
Listen to what Yeshua said to the rabbis: “What sorrow awaits you Pharisees! For you are careful to tithe even the tiniest income from your herb gardens, but you ignore justice and the love of God. You should tithe, yes, but do not neglect the more important things.” Or is this not what he said?
Are we neglecting the important things to focus only on the not-so-important things?
In one of his parables, Yeshua said, “And it is true that the children of this world are more shrewd in dealing with the world around them than are the children of the light.”
Instead of us going to dominate our worlds and ensuring that justice and mercy stand, we abandon it; we retreat. Today, the same Ephesus, which was written about saying, “so mightily grew the word of God and prevailed,” the word of God did not prevail there anymore because they failed to be shrewd in dealing with the world around them.
You don’t build the Kingdom by winning souls. You build the Kingdom by dealing with it, by being involved in building infrastructure, and by being involved in law-making and defense.
God doesn't need your help to build his Kingdom, Israel, or the New Jerusalem. He said he will build his assembly.
Your job is to build your own world by copying what you have seen and heard from him. Didn’t he say that the law shall go forth from Zion?
Doesn’t the book of Revelation say, “The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their splendor into it” (New Jerusalem)?
Are all of these things what I made up, or are they actually found in the Bible? If they are found in the Bible, why do you ignore them?
