Imam Sadiq (A.S.)‏

مَا مِنْ عَمَلٍ حَسَنٍ يَعْمَلُهُ الْعَبْدُ إِلَّا وَ لَهُ ثَوَابٌ فِي الْقُرْآنِ إِلَّا صَلَاةُ اللَّيْلِ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ لَمْ يُبَيِّنْ ثَوَابَهَا لِعِظَمِ خَطَرِهِ

Every single good deed that a servant performs has a reward mentioned for it in the Quran except for the night prayer, for verily God has not expressed its reward because of the great significance it holds with Him.

Imam Sadiq (A.S.)‏

إِذَا دَخَلْتَ مَدْخَلًا تَخَافُهُ فَاقْرَأْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةَ: «رَبِّ أَدْخِلْنِي مُدْخَلَ صِدْقٍ وَ أَخْرِجْنِي مُخْرَجَ صِدْقٍ وَ اجْعَلْ لِي مِنْ لَدُنْكَ سُلْطاناً نَصِيراً» فَإِذَا عَايَنْتَ الَّذِي تَخَافُهُ فَاقْرَأْ آيَةَ الْكُرْسِيِّ

If you enter a place which you fear, then recite this verse: “My Lord! Admit me with a worthy entrance, and bring me out with a worthy departure, and render me a favorable authority from yourself” (Quran 17:80); and if you see someone whom you fear, then recite Ayat al-Kursi (Quran 2:255).

Hope in God with such hope that it will not embolden you to disobey Him, and fear God with such fear that it will not cause you to despair of His mercy.

Prophet Mohammad (SAW)‏

لَا يَكْمُلُ عَبْدٌ الْإِيمَانَ بِاللَّهِ حَتَّى يَكُونَ فِيهِ خَمْسُ خِصَالٍ التَّوَكُّلُ عَلَى اللَّهِ وَ التَّفْوِيضُ إِلَى اللَّهِ وَ التَّسْلِيمُ لِأَمْرِ اللَّهِ وَ الرِّضَا بِقَضَاءِ اللَّهِ وَ الصَّبْرُ عَلَى بَلَاءِ اللَّهِ إِنَّهُ مَنْ أَحَبَّ فِي اللَّهِ وَ أَبْغَضَ فِي اللَّهِ وَ أَعْطَى لِلَّهِ وَ مَنَعَ لِلَّهِ فَقَدِ اسْتَكْمَلَ الْإِيمَانَ

A servant’s faith in God is not complete until he has five attributes in him: complete reliance upon God, entrusting [his affairs] to God, submission to God’s will, contentment with God’s decree, and patience in God’s tribulations. Certainly one who loves for the sake of God, hates for the sake of God, gives for the sake of God, and withholds for the sake of God has, in fact, completed faith.

He who exhorts his brother in secret has indeed adorned him, and he who exhorts him in public has dishonored him.

The stomach is the house of all ailments, and diet control is the fountainhead of remedies. Verily, health and overeating cannot be together.
