The corn in the open bag is exposed anything can touch it, contaminate it, or take from it. This represents a believer who is not yet deeply grounded in the Spirit. Every opinion, temptation, offense, and deception finds easy access.
As the corn is placed inside a bottle, it becomes separated and protected. This symbolizes spiritual growth. Through prayer, God's Word, and fellowship with the Holy Spirit, a believer develops spiritual strength and discernment.
When the vessel is sealed and surrounded by the glory of God, it becomes a picture of a mature believer. The enemy may still come near, but he cannot easily pe*****te the spiritual covering God has established. What once influenced you no longer controls you because your inner man has been strengthened by the Holy Spirit.
Just as 1 Corinthians 14:4 says, "A person who speaks in tongues strengthens himself personally." As you continually build yourself up in the Spirit, your spiritual shield grows stronger. You become less vulnerable to the attacks, distractions, and influences of the world, and more established in Christ.
The goal is not merely to be protected but to become so grounded in God that His presence becomes your covering, your strength, and your defense.
