3RD MAY, 2026 JEREMIAH 1:4-5 The Lord said to me, “I chose you before I gave you life, and before you were born I selected you to be a prophet to the nations.”
: CREATED FOR GREATER IMPACT
There is a voice speaking over your life—and it is not the voice of your past mistakes, or your limitations. It is the voice of God. And today, that voice is declaring: “You were created for greater impact!”
ARE NOT AN ACCIDENT
God told Jeremiah, “I chose you before I gave you life.”
That means:
Your birth was not a mistake
Your life is not random
Your existence is intentional
Before your parents met, before your environment shaped you—God had already planned you.
📖 John 15:16 — “You did not choose Me, but I chose you…”
👉 Stop calling yourself ordinary when heaven calls you chosen.
👉 Stop complaining about your life when God has already approved your existence.
Think of a manufacturer who designs a product before producing it. A phone is first planned, designed, and tested before it is released.
In the same way, God designed you before He released you into the world.
You are not a “trial version”—you are a finished product with purpose.
2. ARE DEEPLY KNOWN AND VALUED
“Before I formed thee… I knew thee.”
God knows:
Your strengths
Your weaknesses
Your struggles
Your future
Yet, He still chose you.
👉 Your past does not surprise God
👉 Your flaws do not disqualify you
📖 Psalm 139:14 — “I am fearfully and wonderfully made.”
Imagine a teacher who already knows a student struggles in a subject but still selects that student to represent the class—because the teacher sees potential beyond the weakness.
God sees beyond your current state—He sees your destiny.
3. YOU ARE SET APART FOR A PURPOSE (DIVINE SEPARATION)
“…I sanctified thee…”
To be sanctified means to be set apart.
You are not created to blend in—you are created to stand out.
📖 Matthew 5:14 — “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.”
👉 Stop comparing yourself with others
👉 Your uniqueness is your assignment
👉 Your difference is your advantage
🔍 Practical Illustration:
Salt and sugar may look similar, but their purposes are different. If salt tries to be sugar, it loses its value.
When you try to be someone else, you lose your impact.
4. ARE CALLED TO MAKE IMPACT (DIVINE ASSIGNMENT)
“…I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.”
Jeremiah was not just called to exist—he was called to influence.
📖 Matthew 5:13 — “You are the salt of the earth.”
📖 Colossians 4:6 — “Let your speech be always with grace…”
👉 Your life is meant to affect others
👉 Your gifts are tools for transformation
👉 Your voice carries power
A candle does not light itself—it lights others.
Your life is not just for you—it is for others.
Someone’s breakthrough is connected to your obedience.
5. LIMITATIONS DO NOT CANCEL YOUR CALLING
📖 Jeremiah 1:6 — “Ah, Lord God! I cannot speak: for I am a child.”
Jeremiah doubted himself—but God did not withdraw the calling.
👉 God does not call the qualified—He qualifies the called
👉 Your weakness is an opportunity for God’s strength
📖 2 Corinthians 12:9 — “My grace is sufficient for thee…”
A microphone is useless without power. It may look good, but it needs connection.
You may feel weak—but when connected to God, your life produces power.
POINTS
Father, thank You for choosing me before I was born.
I declare that my life is not an accident in Jesus’ name.
Lord, open my eyes to my divine purpose.
Help me to walk in the assignment You have given me.
Father, deliver me from comparison and insecurity.
Let me embrace my uniqueness in Jesus’ name.
Lord, use my life as a vessel of impact.
Let my gifts bless my generation.
