THE YAM AND THE BARN

I grew up as an African Child and in my Childhood days, my Father had a YAM BARN. His was not the largest barn in my village, but it followed the same process as the barn of the highest yam farmers.

There was a season when the yam barn was full of yam seedlings, and after a while, in another season, the entire barn was empty. Why was it empty? It was empty because the Farmer had planted his yam seedlings for a higher yield. In the next harvest season, obviously, the Farmer would have more yam seedlings than the previous year.

Relatively speaking, The Life of an Entrepreneur and Business Owner is like this. A time to have yam in the barn and another time to have an empty barn. If indeed you planted your yam for a higher yield, please don't be worried about the present day hunger. Don't even be ashamed when you are slighted for not having yam seedlings in your barn. If you can WAIT, your next harvest season is coming. You will eat in plenty, sell in plenty and have enough for another planting season and for generations yet unborn.

My name is Godswill Nmekini, don't judge me because you found no yam in my barn, I have intentionally planted them in SYSTEM'S FARMLAND, capable of yielding PASSIVE and RESIDUAL harvest. I did not plant them in the FARMLAND of LUXURIES and SELF AGGRANDIZEMENT to please some folks and live like a Big Shot.

If you are an Entrepreneur and Business Owner, Please prepare for the next generations by planting in the FARMLAND OF TECH (BLOCKCHAIN, Ai, ROBOTICS, iOT, FINTECH, AGRITECH), REAL ESTATE, Etc.

Don't get angry or feel ashamed when passersby gossip about you having no yam in your barn... because bountiful harvest awaits you!

WHY DID GOD CREATE ME?

One of the most critical things in life is to Discover Purpose. Its important to Discover, Define, Pursue, Maximize and Fulfill PURPOSE.
Out of the over 8 Billion people in the world, I really wonder how many have actually discovered PURPOSE? Out of those who have discovered it, am in doubt if 50% of them are pursuing it, how much more fulfilling same?

In a world where there are Parental influences, Marital influences, Academic influences, Social influences, Religious influences, Political influences and Economic influences; Many people seem to tilt towards the direction that influences them the most while pursuing their life ambitions, rather than relying on the creator of LIFE in discovering Purpose.

PURPOSE is the original intent of a thing. Like Dr Myles Munroe would say, "Where Purpose is not known, abuse is inevitable". He further reiterated that the graveyard is the most valuable place on earth. Therein you have Purposes buried, that were never discovered or fulfilled!

I challenge you to ask yourself these intentional questions: Who am I?, What was I created to DO or BE?, How do I go about fulfilling my Purpose?

Please understand that your real COURSE is not what you studied in School. But the pursuit of your Purpose. Brother Paul in 2 Timothy 4:7 said: " I have Finished my Course (PURPOSE)". This is the hallmark of a fulfilled Life - When you maximize and fulfill PURPOSE.

Don't forget, "Good Success" begins with the Discovery of Purpose!
