MEET OUR GUEST FOR NOVEMBER EDITION OF LESSONS FROM MY JOURNEY
Founder & CEO of DOMINION WHEEL GROUP: Okikiolu Soremekun
He is a graduate of Business Administration and Management (OND &HND) respectively from the prestigious Yaba College of Technology in 1985.
After his graduation, he was posted to Akure in Ondo State for the 1-year compulsory NYSC assignment where he lectured for 1 year at the College of Information and Technology, Akure. After his service, he joined (P.M.A.O) Peat Marwick Ogunde & Co as a Trainee Accountant. A year later he left P.M.A.O to join SO&U Ltd an advertising agency as the Deputy Finance Manager.
After 2 years in SO&U Ltd, he left to join the First Aid Finance & Investment Company Ltd as the credit analyst, then later the Head of Credit. After 2 years in First Aid Ltd, he was appointed as the Assistant General Manager of First Equity & Investment Finance Ltd where he rose to the post of General Manager. His thirst for new challenges made him leave the finance industry into the automobile industry.
He joined Car Link Limited, where he spent 12 years in various capacities:
Sales Manager;
Assistant sales manager;
Deputy sales manager; and
Managing Director.
It's from here he proceeded to start his own firm DOMINION WHEELS GROUP- A world class automobile sales and servicing company, which has been thriving ever since.
