BRING THE WORLD TO JESUS
The World Needs Salvation
Hello, Beloved Brethren
I trust you are having a great moment.
Before the birth of JESUS CHRIST, the world already awaited a crowned PRINCE and REDEEMER who would end the suffering of those who believed in HIM and bring them into everlasting glory, honour and joy.
Not so many know about this in the world today as there are many places where Gospel of Salvation must still be preached by those who must have heard and accepted it to those who need to hear and accept so that they may be saved as well. Through acceptance, they will also accept this same JESUS CHRIST, The Saviour, as their LORD and sole Saviour.
Those who have received this gospel of grace, redepmtion and salvation, found in JESUS CHRIST, are now saddled with responsibility of telling others—who are yet to receive it—about CHRIST so that they may also be saved from danger and destruction of sin.
During the earthly ministry of JESUS CHRIST, the LORD, HIMSELF, preached this Gospel of salvation to a Samaritan woman who eventually and in turn brought many others from the city to meet and accept JESUS CHRIST as their LORD and Saviour (John 4:29,30).
But today, many self-professed born again Christians give excuses why they find it difficult to extend such message of salvation or Gospel to their sinful neighbours. Many Christians, today, complain of persecution, trials, illiteracy and individual needs as the impediment.
We should always use our LORD JESUS CHRIST as an example, though, HE was hungry, yet saved these Samararitan people from destruction. The same example can also be drawn from early churches, despite being persecuted as of that time, they never, at any time, ceased to preach the Gospel (Acts 8:4).
Our current needs, wants or problems; joblessness, sickness, poverty, illiteracy, persecution, accommodation—should never be a factor deferring our push to bring the world to CHRIST, rather, we should use the contemporary situation of the world as an impetus or a motivation.
On daily basis, people get sick and die in it without knowing CHRIST and having any hope of going to heaven afterlife. Undoubtaly, this is a perilous time and iniquities multiply each minute everywhere, but as believers, we must swiftly be prompted by our divine calling (Matthew 11:28-30) to bring the sinners back to GOD before they die and end up in hell.
Procrastination has cost us so many lives and souls that we can no longer tarry all day and night because you must work now as this message comes to you before "night when no one can work (John 9:4)."
We can bring sinners to CHRIST through evangelism, publication, kindness, friendship, our conducts. Sometimes, our attitude and behaviour appeal to sinners that they choose to imitate us.
Before our encounter with sinners or people of the world, we must be prepared: be holy, prayerful, and ensure that significant passages are studied from the Bible and understood before the meeting.
Believers must also exhibit love to sinners. In fact, love beautifies us before them. We must be compassionate, friendly, patient and caring towards them as that will give them good impression about us and WHOM (JESUS CHRIST) we are coming to preach to them. Also, dependence on the Holy Spirit for guidance and assistance is a must and non-negotiable.
Most importantly, JESUS CHRIST alone must be projected and lifted in our messages to them unlike many Christians do today where they base the teaching on prosperity, tithe and offering for their self-enrichment because JESUS says: "And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto ME" (John 12:32).
When our meeting is centred on JESUS CHRIST, the Holy Spirit will take control and transfer the sinners from the realm of darkness into that of light. If we jettison this directive, many sinners will die in their sins and more souls will be lost to hades, but if we obey, those souls will be redeemed and saved, also be transmitted from damnation and destruction to life and eternal glory. Amen
