Unforgiveness opens the door for mental, physical and spiritual harms which are the following:
* Extreme anger and rage
* Bitterness and resentment
* Loss of peace
* Discontentment
* Loss of joy and happiness 😊
* Loss of energy and drainess
* Sense of hopelessness
* Unrest, sleeplessness, and loss of energy.

.............. consequences of unforgiveness continue.

( l) Health Problem.
Unforgiveness is classified in medical book as a disease - according to Dr. Standiford - chief of surgery at the Cancer Treatment Center of America.
Harboring negative ( feelings ) emotions such as anger, bitterness e.t.c. creates chronic anxiety. Chronic anxiety very predictably produces excess adrenaline and cortisol, which deplete the production of natural killer cells - which is your body foot soldiers in the fight against cancer and other diseases i.e. it weaken your immune system.
Unforgiveness distresses your muscular skeletal system by increasing forehead muscle tension thereby producing headache and other symptoms:- stomach ache, ulcers, muscles tension, joint pain and ache, dizziness and tiredness. Your muscles may tighten causing in balancing or pain in your neck, back and limbs. It reduces the supply of oxygen and nutrients to the cells. This increases chances of delayed or inadequate repair during sleep, impairing recovery from injuries - arthritis e.t.c. The peptide and hormonal chemical ( system ) " messenger" are altered in every system of the body. The blood flow to your heart is constricted which can cause heart failure or attack.
Your digestion is equally impaired.

(I) It destroys godly relationship and causes split's in the Body of Christ.
There is so much chaos in the Church of Christ because of offended people. Many of them are not able to fellowship with one another and build friendship due to offences and fear of rejection. Many people build huge walls around them due to unforgiveness. They receive new revelation that separate them from the other people and even making them to be passive. For example it is right to say " we need to look at God and not people". But very often this type of relationship are received by offended people who try to justify their lack of desire to engage in honest and open relationships with other people in the Body of Christ. Right we must look at God and trust "Him" alone; but at the same time I'm sure a person cuts himself off the fullness of God's will and his destiny when he choose to function alone, independent of the Body of Christ.
(j) Limited in hearing the voice of the Holy Spirit. Act. 27: 9- 25. Unforgiveness blocks the spiritual ear from hearing the Holy Spirit's instructions and leadings. Not only does it blocks spiritual hearing it blinds the spiritual eyes as well.
( k) Delay or thwarts spiritual growth 1Cor. 3: 1-4.
It re**rd your spiritual growth, thereby making you spiritual dwarf stuck in babyhood living and experience.

(f) Damages one's personal witness. The highlight of your testimony is salvation which centers on the fact that the Lord has forgiven all your sins. How can you stress the importance of this if your listeners, neighbors, friends, families, colleagues e.t.c. can't see even a hint of forgiveness in your own life.
(g)It deprives one of grace, because it feeds the root of bitterness that arises in human heart. When we fail to forgive immediately, offence, wrath and unforgiveness turns into bitterness which - like some spiritual infection - poison our spiritual life and deprive us of God's grace.
(h) It opens the door for torturers in our lives. Eph. 4:26- 27, Matt.18:34- 35. When God is forced to discipline us because of an unrepentant heart, "He" takes away "His" protection from us. Then Satan does everything in his power to make our lives unbearable and miserable. He causes physical and emotional illness that can't be cure by human medicine . God is not the author of tragedies. Job 1:9- 22. It is the devil whom the Bible called wicked. Through unforgiveness a person destroys God's protective wall around his life and becomes a victim of the one who seeks to devour - the devil. 1Pet. 5:8; Pr. 16:4; Ecll. 10:8; Ps. 80:14- 19............. to be continue.

Brethren, greetings to you in Jesus Mighty name. How are you? I'm sorry that it has been a while since I posted a message on this platform. Kindly bear with me please.
So far we have considered the following topics; * What is unforgiveness, * the evils of unforgiveness, * the effects of unforgiveness. Now we shall be considering consequences of unforgiveness. Shall we proceed.

THE CONSEQUENCES OF
UNFORGIVENESS.
(a) Separation from God. Unforgiveness is an act of deliberate disobedience to God there by putting yourself at odd with "Him" and forfeiting "His" presence. 2 Tim. 4: 16- 17. And divine presence enable you to display divine power and authority as seen in the life of Apostle Paul.
(b) Hinders God from hearing you. The prayers of an unforgiver is detestable to unto God. "He" doesn't attend to such prayer requests. Matt. 18: 35; 5:23- 24.
(c) Your faith is blocked. Your faith wouldn't work with a heart filled with unforgiveness. Faith works and energized by love. Praying with anger lounged in your heart is fruitless. Gal. 5: 6.
(d) Your love tank dries. 2Cor. 5: 15. Love is the greatest thing in life and without it your lives have no favour. Your lives becomes dull, flat, tasteless and you are locked in the prison of selfishness. When you are filled with unforgiveness you are filled with self. Unforgiveness will center your thinking on what your offenders did for you and not on what they are doing for themselves by their actions-- their disobedience to God. Thinking about others always pay great dividends and frees us from selfishness.
(e) Harms family interactions. It's hard to spend time with anyone consumed by resentment because such people simply cease being likeable.
