THINK OF WHAT YOU CAN ADD MORE THAN WHAT YOU CAN TAKE

"But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil. Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin".
(James 4:16‭-‬17 KJV).

Here is a story I got from a Senior Comrades

There was a circulated photo of a vulture waiting for a starving Sudanese girl to die and feast on her during the 1993 famine in Sudan.

The photo was taken by Kevin Carter, a South African photojournalist who later won the Pulitzer Prize for the 'amazing' shot.

Kevin however lived just a few months to enjoy his supposed achievement because he later got depressed and took his own life!

He was savoring his feat and he was being celebrated on major news channels and networks worldwide for such an 'exceptional' photographic skill.

His depression started when, during one of the interviews he granted (a phone-in program), someone phoned in and asked him what happened to the child.

Kevin replied, "I didn't wait to find out after this shot as I had a flight to catch..."

And the person replied, "I put it to you that there were two vultures on that day; one had a camera."

His constant thought of that statement led to depression and his ultimate su***de.

So, are you too a vulture?

In whatever we do, we should let humanity come first before what we can gain out of the situation.

Kevin Carter could have been alive today and even be more celebrated if he had just picked that little girl up and taken her to the United Nations Feeding Center where she was attempting to reach.

In all we do, let us always think of others and how we can be of benefit to humanity.

How we can lend a helping hand and wipe tears?

And when we seek knowledge, wealth, or even elective office, let us think of how we can use it to benefit the people most.

LET'S CHANGE OUR ATTITUDE TOWARDS GOD

"Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ";
(Ephesians 5:17‭-‬20 KJV)

Here is a story I got from a Senior Comrades:
A construction supervisor from the 16th floor of a building was calling a worker on the ground floor. But because of the distance and of course the noise, the worker did not hear his Call.

To draw the attention of the worker, the supervisor in his wisdom and experience threw a $50 note in front of the worker. The worker picked up the note, kept it in his pocket and continued to work.

Again to draw the attention of the worker, the supervisor threw $100 note and the worker this time quickly picked it and kept it in his pocket.

Now the supervisor picked a small stone and threw it at the worker.

The stone hit the worker. This time the worker looked up and the supervisor was now able to communicate with him.

Now think for a second... God wants to communicate with us, but we are too busy doing our worldly jobs.

Then, He gives us small gifts and big gifts... We just keep them... We keep on enjoying the gifts without thanking Him. At most, we just say: We are LUCKY or we're Better than others.

But, when we are hit with a small stone which, we call PROBLEM(S), then we remember God.

That's when we look up to pray and communicate with Him. God gives, gives and forgives and we get, get and forget. Let's change our attitude.

So, don't wait for stones to be thrown before you know what to do or expected of you. Always, always and always remember God.

Make it a point to always say "God I thank You!!!"

VANITY UPON VANITY
(Ecclesiastes 1:1-18)

*"I have seen all the works that are done under the sun; and, behold, all is vanity and vexation of spirit". (Vs.14)*

Beloved Brethren in Christ Jesus the house your Dad built decades ago, who is living there now?

What makes you think the ones you are building now your children will live there in years to come?

How are you sure they will live in Nigeria at all. Ten years now, the house will be out of fashion no matter how beautiful it is.

Stop killing yourself.

My dear brother this professor of comparism wife of yours that is pushing you for greener pasture, might not mourn you for a year before she start with your friend or any other man of her choice that's alive just to keep her little Secret before the time is ripe, but you're already gone living your innocent children at the mercy of another man.

My sister your husband might not even mourn you for 6 months, before your friend, your so call sisters or any other slay queen of his choice will move in and teach your children bitter lesson of their lives.

Stop treating God's treasures (Humans) like trash, remember you have only one single life and death is inevitable. Don't allow worry to make you hurry and sorry in the coffin.

Those children of yours you want to train in Harvard, may just like to be a DJ, a footballer, or a musician that SSCE and dropouts are also doing successfully with little or no help from any quarters.

The day you die, your account officer will reduce your money to ten percent. Your family on vacation will teach your children some bitter lesson that you will weep from heaven if permitted to look behind. You are not alive because of what you have, you're alive to serve God, humanity and prepare for eternity.

Your house may be old fashion, but the prayers, encouragement, support, food, clothes, shoe, school bag or books you bought for another man's child will continue to grow and speak in the heavenly realm . (Matthew 25:34-46)

This is not a call to mediocre.

Vanity is hidden in time.

Where Humanity would spend Eternity Should Always Be The Priority.!!!

OVERCOMING ENVY AND JEALOUSY

Envy is a negative emotion. It is a feeling of discontent or convetousness with regard to another's advantages, success, possessions etc.

'Envy is the act of counting your neighbor's blessing instead of your own'. ( Harold Coffin)

'It is indwelling in man, so everyone must make a deliberate effort to quench it when it arises' ( James 4:5)

Proverbs 14:30 - 'A sound heart is life to the body, but envy is rottenness to the bones'.

Proverbs 27:4 - 'Wrath is cruel and
anger is overwhelming, but who can stand before jealousy'?

Envy and jealousy is demonic, it makes one appear silly and behave foolishly.

Envy is a symptom of lack of appreciation of our own uniqueness and self worth. Each of us has something to give that no one else has.

WHY DO PEOPLE ENVY

1. Insecurity : insecure people put other's down to raise themselves up.
At whatever point in life, see yourself as successful enough that the success of another man cannot constitute a threat to you.

2. Emotional immaturity : Joseph elder brothers envied him cause their father loved him more ( Gen. 37:3-4). They were physically mature, but emotionally they
were not.

3. Greed

4. Ego

5. Frustration : frustration and lack of faith also cause us to envy.

OVERCOMING ENVY AND JEALOUSY

1. Demonstrate gratitude in life : Reflect on areas you have been blessed and give thanks.

2. Avoid activities that encourage comparison : social media often gives that impression that people have perfect lives.

3. Grow : make a plan to develop your own positive qualities and unique gifts.

4. Rejoice and celebrate good things that happen to another : when good thing begin to happen to people around us, it shows that it will soon be your own turn.
DON'T CRITICISE IN THE OPEN WHAT YOU ADMIRE IN THE SECRET.

PASTORS & PASTOR’S WIVES, HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED WHY APOSTLE PAUL HAD TO PRAY THREE TIMES?

Read this scripture before you continue 2 Corinthians 12:7-9

I have read this scripture over and over again and wondered why a man so anointed by God will have an infirmity in his flesh (from satan) and will pray about it three times and yet God says no.

Some self righteous people could begin to quickly dish out answers…. But hold on…. If you have had a taste of this situation like i have, you won’t be quick to conclude.

Let me ask you, Did Apostle Paul have to pray three times for Eutychus to come back to life?
Did he have to pray three times for the girl who was bedeviled to receive liberation?
Did he have to pray three times for handkerchiefs and aprons from his body to become channels of deliverance to people?
Does it not make you wonder that the only time he needed to pray three times was when it was his matter, not a carnal matter, but a health matter; not a matter of luxury but a matter of neccessity.

Dear Pastor and Pastor’s wife, have you ever seen yourself explaining to God that if you did not have that hypertension and diabetes you would have been more useful to God, you would have been more active and productive and that more souls would have been won?

Have you been in a situation where you pray for the barren and they conceive twins and triplets yet to conceive is a matter you have prayed about for years, even if it happens, all you get is a miscarriage or still born. Have you given people life changing marriage counsels and your marriage is at the brink of shattering? Have you lost a family member despite you prayed with the same unction that healed a church member of cancer?

Have you given people ministry advice that made their ministry blossom and yours still look re****ed? Have you picked up sons and daughters who you tutored in Bible school and ministry, who looked up to you as Spiritual Mentors, only for them to locate someone else who is more popular than you to submit to all because they feel that you are a smaller tree who can no longer give them shade?

At such moments, you return to God to be sure He was the one who truly called you. You ask Him questions you shouldn’t be asking him. Questions that the disciples asked their loving master, “carest not that we will perish”…..
All because they were in the storm.

Please hear me, at least as someone who has been in ministry for more than a decade…….
The presence of storms in your life and ministry does NOT indicate
1. That you are not called.
2. That you are wrong.
3. That you are not fit.
4. That you have sinned.
5. That God has left you.
ITS NOT ABOUT YOU!!!!!

STORM HAPPENS!!!

Don’t let that storm confuse you. In a storm you can’t see clearly! You can’t think clearly! So just walk by faith and not by sight! Refuse to listen to your senses! They will give you all the wrong signals!

Rest on this assurances:

1. God is too faithful to fail.

2. The gift and callings of God are without repentance.

3. The presence of storms is not the absence of God.

4. If Apostle Paul’s thorn in the flesh could not be taken away, cut God some slack. Let Him be God.

5. If Jesus felt forsaken, who are you?

6. Believe that God has a plan and He is working out your life behind the scenes.

7. When you can’t see His hand, please trust His Heart of Love!

*[Proverbs 11:12]*

"Whoever belittles his neighbor lacks sense, but a man of understanding remains silent".

Isn't it ironic how God will allow misguided hypocrites who call themselves Christians and speak evil about others to often eat their own words by vindicating those who He has processed for great things?

As James said in his Epistles....
"Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge. There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?
(James 4:11‭-‬12)

There are those who think they know you based upon your past and think they can predict your future by what they know about you, but God will prove them wrong.

The hypocrites around you who think they know you and what's best for you are limited in their knowledge of you; being stuck in your past, but when God changes you it will blow their minds.

When the people around king David realized he had no heat, they thought they knew him because of his past love for women, so they went out and found Abishag, this young, beautiful virgin girl to be with him. Even though she cherished and ministered to David, David knew her not (didn't sleep with her) (1 Kings 1:1-4) No doubt both she and her misguided advisers were surprised.

God knows ALL about you, how you have grown and matured and he is going to give you exactly what you need in your present state to sustain you in your future; He will surely disappoint and shut the mouths of those misguided hypocrites who think they know you.

Your Victory and Testimony shall be loud in Jesus Mighty Name Amen.

THE THREE MOST DIFFICULT SENIOR PASTORS TO WORK WITH:

With some Senior Pastors, serving them is a delightsome experience.

To some others, you need grace to survive them.

These three groups of leaders, can be very difficult to serve.

Only God can help you survive them.

I don't even advise Assistant Pastors to serve them, unless you are led by God to be there......if not you're parking at your own risk.

1. THE SENIOR PASTOR THAT OPERATES IN FALSEHOOD:

Under this man, things must be arranged. He wants you to prove your loyalty to him by arranging Prophecies and Miracles with him. My Brother, any loyalty that makes you miss heaven is not worth it.

If he is weak morally, he can be helped by prayers and counseling. With time, he can change. But when weakness graduates into full blown diabolism and falsehood, leave him to do it alone.

There are genuine Prophets, look for them and serve them, if it is a must you serve under a Prophetic church.

The person who teaches you how to make it by committing sin, has only helped you in time, but has destroyed you in eternity.

2. THE SENIOR PASTOR THAT WHENEVER HE IS NOT IN TOWN IF HIS WIFE IS NOT THE ONE PREACHING, A FRIEND OR A SON FROM ANOTHER MINISTRY MUST BE INVITED TO PREACH:

This one has a serious problem with trust, he has not been healed from the wound of betrayals.

He doesn't want history to repeat itself. He is being careful.

You may never grow under him.

Your potential won't be fullfilled under him.

He is interested in succession and not in sonship.

You will have to believe God to be sent to a Branch, for you to express what God put in you.

I see Assistant Pastors preach in the Ministry of my fathers and Mentors.

I have seen Pastor Oritsehjefor Adeboye, Oyedepo, Kumuyi Ibiyeomie, Okoduwa and several other leaders sit down and a junior minister was the one preaching.

I have always advised Senior Pastors not to bleed on sons who are not responsible for their wound.

Learn to trust them and move on with them.

Many assistant pastors are destroyed through continuous bleeding of senior Pastor who's supposed to serve as mentor but now tormentor in chief.

3. THE SENIOR PASTOR WHO BELIEVES ONCE YOU COME IN, YOU CAN NEVER GO OUT FOR LIFE:

I also belong to this school of thought.

But I have also discovered in my Three and half years of experience in ministry that 'some exit is for your own good'.

GOOD THINGS THAT HAPPENED TO ABRAHAM AFTER LOT LEFT HIM WOULDN'T HAVE HAPPENED IF HE WAS WITH ABRAHAM:

Some exit is for you not to go into extinction.

If some people don't go, you won't grow.

Any Ministry, where other ministries are not raised, is not a new testament Ministry.

In a new testament Ministry, you must occasionally, hear SEPARATE unto me, Paul and Barnabas for the work I have called them into.

Even Paul and Barnabas later SEPARATED because of Mark.

A son must abide in the house forever, is established on 2 platforms.

Those that will serve you and die with you internally and those that will serve you and die with you externally.

Every Apostolic Ministry must have Apostolic procedures for peaceful disengagements.

I beg you sir, Don't keep a man that God is sending away.

He will become a Jonah in your boat.

Hope you know Jonah was a Genuine Man of God? But was wrongly located.

Innocent souls suffered, because of one man that must leave their Ministry boat.

THE 21 TESTS OF TRUE LOYALTY IN MINISTRY:

Minister Conference Extract

There are 21 Tests of True Loyalty in Life and Ministry.

If it is Kingdom Service, never play down on them.

Every Leader must be very sensitive to them.

Like it was with Gideon's ARMY, God does not need your 32,000 men for major and sensitive Assignment.

He needs only 300 of them.

Every Person can be numbered among the 32,000, but not everyone can be numbered among the 300.

Every person is qualified to be a member, but not everyone is qualified to be a leader among the member.

You must take the 32,000 through THESE 21 TESTS for you to KNOW your LOYAL 300 among them.

Most churches are filled with leaders from the 32,000, and that explain the reason for their frustrations.

You don't ordain a man who don't love you, and start teaching him how to love you.

You don't ordain a man who don't understand honour and be teaching him how to understand honour.

You don't ordain a man who is not a natural giver, and be teaching him giving after ordaination.

Remember, Peter passed the giving test, before he heard from Jesus follow me and I will make you fishers of men.

Jesus used his Boat, before he chose him to follow him.

Why did Jesus not called other Fisher men who kept their boat to themselves?

You have already failed from the very beginning, if you appoint people into your inner circle, if you have not proven them within the realities of these 21 Tests.

What do I do, when everyone among the 32,000 looks like the 300 that i am looking for, that is where these 21 TESTS becomes relevant.

He who FAIL these TESTS, cannot be among your INNER CIRCLE MEMBER.

God helped Gideon to test his Army, God also tested Abraham.

God that is ALL KNOWING, said now I know that you love me, for you have not hid your only son Isaac from me.

These 21 test, will help you know the difference between WHAT YOU ALREADY KNOW from WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW.

They are two different things.

So testing People is not anti scriptural.

If you bring them into leadership role, without testing them, you will always regret it.
