Hold onto your faith, though there are moral decadence observed in the body of Christ but nevertheless, Watch closely less wind of false Doctrine sweep manyaway. In 325 AD two Bishop were at loggerhead regards the supremacy of Jesus Christ . Bishop Arius said Jesus is not God and not man ,( what a personal view ) and Bishop Athanasius came out to shut him up by defended the Deity of Jesus Christ, His Hypostatic nature explained with love,( both of them were Bishop ) but bishop Arius insisted not accepted by him , that was the birth of the APOSTLES CREED AT NICEAN . and it stand till today ( I believe in God the Father the creator of Heaven and the earth,and in His son Jesus Christ ,and Holy Spirit .........) .Martin Luther during Roman catholic era came out with "THE JUST SHAL LIVE BY FAITH AND 95" thesis was used to butress it, today we have protestantism as a birth that came out of the revolution , Methodist church, Lutheran church,Baptist and So on. So also in the100 AD the Apostle s were battling with the topic circumcision, and they dealt with it so decisively and till date God rested the case. My advice to fellow believers ,pls study your Bible very well because Jesus Christ warned more of false teachers than false prophets, why because when wrong teaching goes into people's subconscious mind, it can cause a whole Generation setback.
