My singular focus remains unwavering - Jesus Christ and His kingdom, the sole pursuit of my heart, devoid of distractions. Here's to another year of walking in faith, happy birthday to me!

PRAYERS FOR DIVINE PRESERVATION

Scripture:

Lamentations 3:22–23 (NKJV), "Through the LORD'S mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness."

Supplication Prayer:

Father, by Your overflowing grace and unfailing mercy, preserve me and my family from every evil, and let Your mercy continually speak for us in every situation, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Warfare Prayer:

Every arrow of destruction, disaster, affliction, and untimely death targeted against me and my household, backfire by the power of God and return to sender, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

THE POWER OF A PARENT'S WORDS

Point 2: Speak Blessings Over Your Children

Scripture: Genesis 27:27-29
"So Jacob went to his father and kissed him. Isaac smelled Esau’s clothes and blessed him. Isaac said, “The smell of my son is like the smell of the field that the Lord has blessed. May God give you plenty of rain and good soil. Then you will have plenty of grain and wine. May nations serve you. May people bow down to you. May you be master over your brothers. May your mother’s sons bow down to you. May everyone who curses you be cursed. And may everyone who blesses you be blessed.”

Isaac blessed Jacob, and those words had a lasting impact.

Throughout Scripture, parents pronounced blessings over their children.

A blessing is more than kind words. It is speaking God's promises over a child's life.

Pray and declare:

‌"You shall walk in God's wisdom."
‌"You will fulfil your purpose."
‌"The Lord will protect you."
‌"You will grow in favour with God and people."
‌"You will be a blessing to your generation."

Never underestimate the power of praying aloud for your children.

Point 3: Correct with Love, Not with Anger

Scripture

Ephesians 6:4

"Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord."

Correction is necessary, but it should be done with love and self-control.

Words spoken in uncontrolled anger often leave wounds that last for years.

Before correcting a child:

* Calm down.
* Listen to their side.
* Address the behaviour, not their worth.
* Explain why the behaviour is wrong.
* Reassure them of your love.

VICTORY OVER THE ENEMY & HIS WICKEDNESS

Isaiah 54:17— "No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn."

Prayer Point:

Lord, arise and let every enemy assigned against my life, my family, and my destiny be scattered — let no weapon formed against me prosper, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ

Faith Declaration:

I am more than a conqueror through Christ who loves me. No plan of the enemy against me shall stand. Every battle is already won, because greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. I walk in victory today, tomorrow, and forever — in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
