Why Some Prayers Are Not or Will Not Be Answered

Many businesses failed not because it is not a great idea, but because they approach it wrongly. This is why there are business mentors. You either identify and patronise them or you struggle with the business.

Now, let's go to the caption properly. The biblical reason behind unanswered prayers is that it's prayed amiss, isn't it? This is why there are prophetic Intercessors, to which I'm privileged to be one.

How did I know this?

1. We sense situations before they happen —1 Samuel 9:9

2. We receive specific instructions in prayers —Romans 8:26

3. Our words carry spiritual authority —Luke 10:19

When we speak or pray or make prophetic declarations, they often manifest results. Our prayers do not return void because God has anointed our words with authority to influence destinies according to His will.

4. We often see dreams, visions, or insights about others —Joel 2:28

Prophetic intercessors frequently receive divine impressions through dreams, visions, or inner revelation. These insights guide our prayers and actions, enabling us to pray with accuracy and effect on behalf of others.

Interestingly, a prophetic Intercessor didn't choose to be one, but God orchestrated that Himself. In fact, a natural man or woman is selfish, as we are constantly seeking self: we like to focus all the prayers on what we desires for ourselves only, isn't it?

However, a prophetic Intercessor oftentimes receives utterances from the Holy Ghost. Whereas, majority of these utterances are prayer points that has alot to do with other people around us. It maybe for our neighbours, families, friends, or even our nations. The Holy Spirit just burst into tongues and praying with understanding, then we realise the prayer point isn't about us. This has manifested through me several times, woke up to realise the Holy Ghost has been praying for someone else.

This now brings me to another aspect I will love to share with you all.

You see, the reason why some people are stranded angelically is because their angel may have appeared to need their help. More often than not, people misjudge their angels due to familiarity. And by so doing, they are far away from the spiritual connections required to tap into what their angel is carrying in their favour. Some are so distant from their destiny helper because they thought it is the helper that needs help, not knowing they are the one that actually needs the help. May we not avoid our own destiny helper. Amen!

Take the widow of Zarephath for example. If she had the attitude of looking down on the Prophet, she would have ate her last meal and die. Rather, she welcomed the servant of God and the anointing upon the man of God multiplied the foods in her storehouse. I often preach this, God usually brings two helpers together. So, stop raising shoulders that you're helping anyone. They are helping you too, it is your pride that won't let you see it.

Listen, that great man of God that you're running after may not even be the one carrying your blessing in his hands. That is another twist to it. He's great no doubt, but may not be sent to you. “But I tell you of a truth, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elijah, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months… but unto none of them was Elijah sent, save unto Zarephath, a city of Sidon, unto a woman that was a widow.” — Luke 4:25–26

There's a particular person sent to you. Drop your ego and identify them.

Different Cross for Different Folks. But you can overcome them all through Christ.

A highlight of real-life burdens that people face, even when other aspects of life seem “perfect.” Indeed, everyone carries a different cross, but the solution remains in Christ Jesus. Let me support each point with scriptures:

1. Delay in childbearing despite marriage: For some, having gotten married early, yet surfers delay in child bearing, despite availability of every other things to make the home complete.

“Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.” — Psalm 127:3

“He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the LORD.” — Psalm 113:9

2. Delay in finances due to joblessness: For some, delay in finance due to joblessness after getting married, despite all others things they need the finance for are available.

“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 4:19

“The LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand…” — Deuteronomy 28:12

3. Early loss of partner despite wealth: For some who didn't experience delay in getting married, but surfers irreparable early loss of partner, despite having all others material wealth available.

“The LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.” — Job 1:21

“Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.” — Psalm 116:15

4. Sickly or troubled children: For some, having gotten married at their desired time and met all the material conditions but battling with sickly children, or children with drug addiction.

“And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.” — Exodus 23:25

“And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children.” — Isaiah 54:13

5. Delay in finding a life partner despite readiness: For some, delay in securing life partner, having met all the academic, professional career fulfillment, behavioural, financial, character, mental, physical and spiritual conditions to be married.

“Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the LORD.” — Proverbs 18:22

“In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” — Proverbs 3:6

6. Prison, sickness, or untimely death despite success: For some, they got their dream job, marriage, children and material wealth early, but eventually spend their years in the prison. While some spend it on hospital beds. Whereas, for some, their life was cut short early.

“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” — John 10:10

“With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.” — Psalm 91:16

7. Whoredom, infidelity, domestic violence: For some, every other things are perfect, except that the spirit of whoredom enters into their partner, bringing infidelity to tearing them apart. Whereas, it is domestic abuse or violence for some others.

“My people ask counsel at their stocks, and their staff declareth unto them: for the spirit of whoredoms hath caused them to err, and they have gone a wh***ng from under their God.” — Hosea 4:12

“Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it.” — Ephesians 5:25

“Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.” — Ephesians 5:22

The Overall Solution — Christ is the Answer

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28

“Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” — 1 Peter 5:7

“The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.” — Proverbs 18:10

The summary is that no matter the kind of cross one is carrying, Christ remains the ultimate helper and burden bearer.

Traditional Kingship & Faith in Christ 👑

Should a born-again Christian be traditionally enthroned as a king?

Yes—but with spiritual discernment and uncompromised loyalty to Christ.

Kingship is a divine assignment when rightly aligned. Many biblical figures like David and Solomon were both kings and worshippers. The key issue isn't the throne—but what rules your heart on it.

“The Most High rules in the affairs of men, and gives it to whom He will…” — Daniel 4:17

As long as the process doesn’t involve idolatry, rituals contrary to Christ, or allegiance to other gods, a Christian can serve in that capacity—to shine the light of Christ in leadership.

“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.” — Matthew 5:14

But if becoming king means compromising faith, bowing to ancestral altars, or participating in demonic customs, then the answer is NO.

"What fellowship has light with darkness?” — 2 Corinthians 6:14

Let every believer test the spirits, walk in wisdom, and represent Christ even on the throne.

Your Waiting Season Might Be Your Fasting Season 🌟

Sometimes, what feels like delay is actually divine preparation. That silent season, where nothing seems to be happening, could be your spiritual “fastingr” — a time of pruning, testing, and refining.

But here’s the twist: temptation often shows up when you’re closest to your breakthrough.

Remember Jesus? After 40 days of fasting and prayer, the devil showed up — not with horns and fire, but with fake glory, shortcuts, and empty promises.

He said:
“Turn stones to bread.”
“Jump down, angels will catch you.”
“Bow to me, and I’ll give you kingdoms.”

But Jesus knew: If it’s not from God, it’s a trap. Watch it. If that job, marriage or healing has a diabolical means to it, then it is not from God. If there's a shortcut to that financial wealth, it is not from God.

Don’t fall for counterfeits.
Don’t trade your divine reward for a temporary fix.
Your breakthrough is nearer than you think.

Stay rooted. Stay discerning. Stay focused.

Matthew 4:1–11

If this spoke to you, drop an “Amen” or share with someone who needs this today.

WHO IS YOUR WIDOW OF ZAREPHATH?

1 Kings 17:8–16; 2 Kings 4:8–37

God ordains relationships for mutual sustenance in challenging seasons. Your survival and their blessing are connected.

1. God-Ordained Helpers – 1 Kings 17:9

“I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee.” God sends help in unexpected packages. Your helper may look like they need help themselves.

2. Mutual Exchange Principle – 2 Kings 4:13

“What is to be done for thee?” The Shunammite cared for Elisha. Whereas, Elisha blessed her with a son. Divine connections are two-way streets.

3. Obedience Unlocks the Flow

Widow of Zarephath obeyed - Jar of meal never ran out.

Shunammite built for Elisha - Received a miracle child.

Obedience triggers supernatural supply.

4. Sustenance Beyond Money

Some sustainers feed your faith, guard your dream, or protect your destiny. You can also be someone’s Zarephath.

Who is your God-appointed “widow of Zarephath” in this season? And whose “Zarephath” are you?

Proverbs 11:25
“He that watereth shall be watered also himself.”

07/05/2025

You will excel. You will succeed. The grace is sufficient for you. All you need is to connect your faith and take the delivery of your heart desires.
