FOUR CHURCH PRACTICE'S THAT ARE NOT IN THE BIBLE
Do you know some CHURCH PRACTICE'S they DO TODAY AREN'T IN THE BIBLE? you might be surprised by this four tradition that the early church never did let's dive in.

1. Kissing or bowing to the cross.many churches Revere the cross by kissing or bowing to the cross but Jesus never told us to worship the cross itself the power is in his sacrifice not the symbol exodus 24
2. Infant baptism : every baptism in the bible involve a personal decision to repent and follow Jesus , infant cannot repent or believe meaning baptism was Ment for those who could make their choice ACT'S 2:38

3. Confession to a priest : nowhere dose the bible say we must confess sin to a priest for forgiveness, Jesus is our high priest HEBREW 4:14

4. Lastly, read carefully wearing wedding rings as a symbol of marriage, the bible describe marriage as a covenant before God but never mention wedding rings the tradition's of exchanging rings comes from Roman custom's not scripture GENESIS 2:24

Topic: *Must We All Practice the Same Doctrine?*

_Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son_

INTRODUCTION
This topic seeks to address the position and right of individuals in choosing what and who to follow.

🔍Must all the " Christians" practice the same doctrine?

🔍Must all men (women inclusive) practice the same doctrine?

When we consider the word of Christ in the text above, , the term "whosoever" implies that nobody is exempted.

DISCUSSION
👉🏻If 10 Civil Engineers were given the same building plan, Must they all build the same type of house?
👉🏻If 100 scientists in the laboratory have the same chemical combination (reaction), Will they all produce the same thing?

📌Beyond every reasonable doubt, the answer to the above questions is "Yes".
If everyone who puts the same postcode in a Google map gets to the same location, how come we read the same Bible but do not practice the same thing?

👉🏻 *CHRIST'S AUTHORITY & AUTHENTICITY*
John 1:1-2...14: _In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God and the word was God._
Matt. 16:16-18; _...You are Christ [the Anointed, Messiah]..._
John 6:68-69; _Lord to whom do we go to... We have come to believe and know that you are the Christ..._
He is the head of the body (Col. 1:18).

From the ongoing discussion, we can see that Christ has the whole authority to establish a doctrine, while men ought to simply obey and follow where He leads.

📌Advantages of Practicing the Same Doctrine (The Doctrine of Christ).
1. It is sign of total obedience to Christ (2Jn vs 9).
2. It promotes the Unity of the body of Christ (John 17:11, 20-21).
3. It will help us to achieve our goal (Heaven) at the end (John 12:48-49).
📌Why are there different Doctrines?
1. Savage wolves have come (Acts 20:29-30).
2. Men with itching ears have appeared (2Tim. 4:3-4).
3. The lamb-like beasts have come to deceive the world by great signs (Rev. 13:11-13).

Consequences of Practising Different Doctrines.
1. It prevents the world from believing that Jesus was sent by the Father. John 17:20-22
2. It causes confusion in Christianity but God is not an author of confusion. 1Cor.14:33
3. It will damn the soul if the wrong doctrine is practised. 1Tim.4:16

CONCLUSION
Our God is not an author of confusion (1Cor. 14:33). He promised a Messiah (Christ) and He gave us (John 1:14). He said we should listen to Christ (Luke 9:33-35). He gave all authority to Christ (Matt. 28:18).
*It is therefore imperative that if we are all following Christ, "We Must All Practice the Same Doctrine".*

And to all who are yet to believe God through Jesus Christ, this is an ample opportunity. Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life (John 14:6). And Salvation can only be found in Him (Acts 4:10-12).
Repent today and obey God through Christ in His doctrine and Church (Hebrew 3:15).
