You're not forsaken, yet don't settle for pretense. Be original.

Better a live dog than a dead lion.
Don't lose hope, be at rest, God is working out things for you.
Also know that everything works for the good of all who loves God and are called according to his will.

For anyone to pray fervently, his or her heart must be involved, deliberately.
Prayer will be effective to the degree that we're focused and concentrated. Your level of concentration determines your level of connection.
When we pray without focus it doesn't amount to much.

It is important to silent the numerous thoughts in us while praying, silence and shut down voices. A lot of voices speaks within us, to hear that of God we'll need to be well connected. Connection comes through concentration. We will miss out on God when we pray with divided attention.

To devote means to give our entire being, surrender to the Lord.

Also, the posture of the heart should be that of thanksgiving, everything we pray for should come from the place of thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving is the password to getting God's heart.

Have a great week ahead!!!

Whatever blessing God gives you, it is not for personal use alone. All blessings are given to edify and build the body of Christ, it could be monetary blessings, substance, livestock, service or talents.

The more you give what you have for God's service, the more you gain. Our gifts must be given in humility and thanksgiving to God.
When you become proud or boastful after giving anyone anything or the church, then your gift is without blessing.

When you sow good seeds you reap good yield. The quality of your blessing depends largely on what you sow and how you sow.

Philippians 4:10-19; 1 Corinthians 4:7; Ezekiel 2:2-8; James 2:15-17.

Message by very reverend Yakubu John Aku.

Happy Sunday, body of Christ!!!

Our hearts desires places where we find treasures, where we get comfort. The human heart easily gets attracted and attached to anything, anyone or anywhere it finds soothing.

But as believers, though we live in the world, we shouldn't store our treasures here, for we are not of the world. Life doesn't end here.

Lot's wife was so attached to S***m that she couldn't resist thinking about it that she had to look back. She was already missing her friends, was scared of losing the mansion she was used to, she was going to miss the fun days in S***m. She built her entirety on S***m that she couldn't detach.
So, she couldn't make it out of S***m.

Whatever we set our hearts on, so long as it is not heavenly or godly, it slows down or pace in the heavenly race.

We shouldn't give much thought to earthly things, our desires should be consistent with God's kingdom. The pleasures of life is fleeting, but the glory of heaven is eternal.

Philippians 4:8 gives us a direction of what to fill our hearts with. Saturate your heart with godly thoughts.

It is better to walk with God than to work for Him. Know God and walk with him, He'll teach you how to serve Him better.
