*UMCA Missions Prayer*

Tuesday, 18 April, 2023 *JEBBA DISTRICT*
Pray for the leadership of the UMCA Jebba District to receive strength from the Lord and the courage needed to take the District to the promise land (“be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them” (Joshua 1:6). Ask the Lord to help the District to possess all the lands and territories around the District for Christ through evangelism and accurate discipleship of every soul won.

Let us go out and vote peacefully, and together, let us build a society that is just and equitable for all. Thank you, and may God bless you. Rev K.J.V ADEOTI

In this crucial time, we need to make wise decisions, especially in choosing our leaders. The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 11:14 that "Where there is no guidance, a people falls, but in an abundance of counselors, there is safety." We must seek God's counsel on who to vote for and not rely on our own understanding. Let us come together and pray for guidance as we exercise our right to vote.

The statement "Relax! Faith works" can be an encouraging reminder that God is in control and that we can trust in His promises. It is a call to let go of our anxieties and worries, and to have faith that God will work all things for our good (Romans 8:28).

At the same time, it is also a challenge to put our faith into action. Faith is not merely a passive belief, but an active trust that produces fruit in our lives (James 2:14-26). We are called to step out in faith, to take risks, and to do the things that God has called us to do, even when it feels uncomfortable or scary.

So, let us take heart and have faith, knowing that God is with us and that He will work all things together for our good. And let us also be bold and courageous, putting our faith into action and trusting in the power of God to bring about great things in our lives and in the world around us.
