Text:1Peter 1:3

The best hope that can be admired is that which is built on Christ.

In him we have;
1. A better and satisfying life
(Matthew 11:28,29)
2.Rest
(Isaiah 40:28-31).
3. Strength and strategies
(Romans 8:37).
4. Victory.
5. Peace and Comfort.
6. Our needs are met.
7. Safety and free from evil
(Romans 10:9).

Conclusively,
Hold fast the profession of pur faith without wavering: For God is just and true ; faithful concerning his promise ( Hope).

Topic: The Power Of The Thanksgiving Heart

Text: Philippians 4:6-7

The word thanks is used to show appreciation. Praise is also another way to appreciation.
Worship is our adoration and honour to God, so a Thanksgiver is one who acknowledge God's kindness in his\her life.

-Thanksgiving is one of the weapon used in dismantling the agenda of the evil ones

-Thanksgiving started from the beginning, the story of cain and Abel gives an explanation to that.

-When you thank God for what HE has done, HE will do more.

-Most people are limited today because they are not thankful even to God.
Psalms 100:4

-When u learn to give thanks in all situations chains are broken.
1 Thessalonians 5:16

-Avoid the opposite of Thanksgiving that is; complain, bitterness these things bring hindrance.

-Use your body to glorify God
Romans 1:21-24

-Even if it's not always easy all time to thank God, thank Him so His will be done.
Romans 12:1

-Thanking God in difficult situations weighs better than when thanking Him when all is in place.

-The Word gives deliverance, study the Word and you will see reasons to thank GOD.

-If you want the journey to your breakthrough shortened, give thanks.

-Praises brings us close to God's presence.
Thanksgiving is the key to turn situations around for the best.

God is beautiful for all situations.

Thanksgiving is an act, so act upon the word.
When you humble your self before God He raises you.
God is Almighty therefore come before Him always with Thanksgiving.

The only excess luggage you are permitted to carry as we journey in this last quarter of the year and still get to your destination on time is FAVOUR
Psalms 30: 5
God's favor makes things easier and give you speed.
Favour brings an exponential increase.
Favour picks a man from the dumps and place him in a high position.

KEYS TO UNLOCK FAVOUR
1) Have a good Understanding about Favour: Proverbs 13:15
Favour is preference over another/
God's kindness over a man, you must be able to recognize and acknowledge God's Favour.
*Favour speaks in hopeless situations
1 Samuel 16:1-13

*Favour makes men wait for your arrival, and will bring you before king.

2) Obedience To God: Deuteronomy 28:1-2
When you obey God's voice\word, favour takes over your steps

3) Righteousness: Proverbs 14:9
Never mock the righteous for they are in line with God's will.
Psalms 5:12

4) Sowing into the life of a favoured person: Genesis 14:18-20, Hebrews 7:6-7
What you honour, you attract, what you don't honour will run from you.
You can't get what you don't celebrate.

[10]A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.
[11]Put on all of Godā€™s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil.
[12]For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.
[13]Therefore, put on every piece of Godā€™s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm.
[14]Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of Godā€™s righteousness.
[15]For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared.
[16]In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil.
[17]Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
[18]Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.

[15]You have been taught the holy Scriptures from childhood, and they have given you the wisdom to receive the salvation that comes by trusting in Christ Jesus.
[16]All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.
[17]God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.NLT

1) Loss of identity
(Luke 15:11-18)

*Many are in church but has lost their identity

*When you lose your identity you will be reduced to nothing

*It's not what you have but who you are that matters. (Acts 19:14-15)

*Know that you are a child of GOD , bought with a price

*David didn't defeat Goliath by throwing the stone, but identified who he was (1 Samuel 17:26,55-58)

*Samson lost his identity and was defeated, but Joseph knew who he was, that made him not to succumb to the enticement of Potiphar's wife. Genesis 39:9

*Situation will not change because you can pray or shout but because of the identification of who you are in Christ Jesus.

2) Frustration...

*The devil can bring affliction into people's life to make them frustrated to see if they will give up in life, but never give up.

*People say "my business, work, child sickness etc will kill me" why do you confess like the unbelievers. Avoid negative confessions...
