The Diocese of Kalabari's recent Rededication Service marked a significant milestone with the announcement of a groundbreaking initiative by our Bishop, Rt. Rev'd. Dr. Boma Peter Briggs JP.

The Diocese has taken a substantial step towards establishing a university, tentatively named 𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗢𝗙 𝗞𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗕𝗔𝗥𝗜, to be located in the 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗮 community within the Asari-toru Local Government area.

According to the Bishop, the university is set to commence operations this year with the Faculty of Social Sciences and Theology.

Given the Diocese's recent creation, this ambitious undertaking demonstrates the Bishop's vision for empowering the community and fostering holistic growth among its members.

Notably, prior to this announcement, Kalabari land lacked any satellite campus of an existing university, making this development a historic and long-awaited breakthrough for the region's indigenes.

Let's pray for the success of this University, our Lord Bishop, the Diocese of Kalabari and Kalabari land in general.
