*CIRCUMCISION, THE BABY AND THE HEALTHCARE WORKER*🤔
So I watched the innocent baby lay helpless on the couch, playing. The healthcare worker grabbed her circumcision instruments, forceps, scissors and others, arranging them closeby for easy access. She wore her gloves with a smile on her face, with this thought running through her mind (another process for a beautiful end). While I watched she picked her forceps and clamped on the baby's fo****in, the baby let out a cry! Oh no, how could the healthcare worker have done that? That baby was innocent, but she ignored the baby's cry and continued cutting, the baby was bleeding still she kept cutting.
Then I asked where the mother of the child was, she had ran outside, crying at the hospital reception "oh my dear son, I can't withstand his cry, my heart pounds within me but I'm helpless"- tears rolling down her cheek. The more the fo****in was being cut away, the more the bleeding, the more the baby cried. All we could say was sorry little one, but that never relieved the pain, neither did it stop the process. A few moment afterwards, the beautiful skin was being revealed. Someone shouted from behind "This is beautiful, neatly cut and perfectly done, now he is a man!". The healthcare worker heaved a huge sigh of the relief, then the baby was handed over to the mother an acceptable man, brought into covenant and with very minimal risk of infection
Circumcision, the baby (You&I), the healthcare worker (GOD). Circumcision is a process to a beautiful end that every believer has to go through. It brings us into the place of acceptance with GOD.
Isaac was a covenant child but would still need to be circumcised to be identified with covenant.
The fact that you a good believer does not exclude you from this painful process that will shapen you into that which fits for the Master's use. David a young innocent shepherd boy who knew his GOD and was able to bring Goliath down with just a sling and a stone, who brought victories to the Israelites in the name of GOD, who could sing to bring down GOD'S presence was still crude in GOD'S eyes and needed to undergo a circumcision process. Though he was a man after GOD'S heart, GOD didn't spare him from the troubles King Saul put him through. He had to keep running, hiding for his life and sometimes went hungry inorder to be shapen into a man who would raise distressed and rejected men to become mighty men of valor.
If GOD is going to raise you a King with a heart of empathy, He would first make you a shepherd, then a rejected one and probably make you act like a madman to save yourself from the enemy you took shelter in their abode - Ask David
Your being a saint does not spare you, your purpose determines your circumcision process and how long you would stay under the knife
At this season of your life, no human comfort seems helpful because you are the one under the knife and the pain does not eases until the process is completed.
Some other times there's no comfort from any man, at this time it looks as if GOD isn't listening to you or probably is far from you.
Sorry dear, pls persevere, this process cannot be interrupted because you will end becoming marred or deformed.
No matter how long it may take, you will come out beautiful, acceptable, usable and evidently bearing the covenant.
