STATEMENT OF FAITH
LIGHT FROM HEAVEN EVANGELISTIC MINISTRY - LFHEM that in all things He might have the preeminence.” Colossians 1:18
We, the members and leadership of Light From Heaven Evangelistic Ministry,unapologetically believe and declare the following:
1. THE SCRIPTURES
We believe the Bible, in its entirety, is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God.
It is the final authority for faith, doctrine, and Christian living. 2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:21
2. THE GODHEAD
We believe in One God, eternally existing in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son - Jesus Christ, and God the Holy Spirit.
Equal in power, glory, and majesty. Matthew 28:19, Deuteronomy 6:4
3. THE LORD JESUS CHRIST
We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, was buried, rose again bodily, and ascended to heaven.
He is the only way to salvation. John 14:6, Isaiah 53:5
4. SALVATION
We believe that man is saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
Salvation involves repentance, being "born again", and a transformed life of holiness. Ephesians 2:8-9, John 3:3, Romans 10:9
5. BAPTISM IN WATER
We believe in water baptism by immersion as a public declaration of faith in Christ and identification with His death, burial, and resurrection. Matthew 28:19, Romans 6:4
6. BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe in the present-day baptism in the Holy Spirit with the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues.
This empowers believers for service, holiness, and witness. Acts 1:8, Acts 2:4, 1 Corinthians 12:7-11
7. DIVINE HEALING AND MIRACLES
We believe that divine healing and miracles are part of the atonement of Christ and are available to believers today through prayer and the laying on of hands. Isaiah 53:5, James 5:14-15, Mark 16:17-18
8. DELIVERANCE AND SPIRITUAL WARFARE
We believe in the reality of Satan and demonic forces.
We believe believers have authority in the name of Jesus to cast out demons, break yokes, and overcome every power of darkness. Ephesians 6:12, Luke 10:19, Isaiah 10:27
9. THE CHURCH
We believe the Church is the Body of Christ, called to worship God, disciple believers, and evangelize the world.
We operate in the 5-fold ministry gifts and the gifts of the Spirit for the edifying of the Body. Ephesians 4:11-12, 1 Corinthians 12:1-11
10. HOLINESS AND CHRISTIAN LIVING
We believe God calls His people to live holy, righteous, and separated lives.
We are to shine as light in a dark world and fulfill our glorious destiny in Christ. Hebrews 12:14, 1 Peter 1:16, Matthew 5:14
11. PROSPERITY AND DIVINE BLESSING
We believe God desires to prosper His people spiritually, physically, and financially, that they may be a blessing to others and advance the Kingdom. 3 John 2, Deuteronomy 8:18
12. THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST
We believe in the imminent, personal, and visible return of Jesus Christ to rapture His Church.
After this, there will be the final judgment, eternal life for the saved, and eternal punishment for the lost. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, Revelation 20:11-15
13. OUR MANDATE
We believe God has called LFHEM to be “A Ministry of Light” - to preach the Gospel, pray for the sick, deliver the oppressed, and birth glorious destinies for the glory of God.
Isaiah 60:1, Jeremiah 29:11, Ephesians 2:10
DECLARATION:
We are a Pentecostal Charismatic Ministry.
We are people of the Word, the Spirit, and the Power.We believe God is still saving, healing, delivering, and birthing destinies today.
