Meet Musa Maimako Haruna, an ALUMNI of our prestigious Nasarawa State University, Keffi. He is currently a Commonwealth Shared Scholar studying MSc Health Psychology at King’s College London, UK.
He graduated from Nasarawa State University, Keffi as the Overall Best Student in Faculty of Social Sciences and Second Best in the entire school with a First-Class BSc in Psychology.
He is also a Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society, the Nigerian Psychological Association and African Suicidal Prevention Association.
His research focuses on digital health interventions for managing chronic illnesses, especially using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to improve mental health and quality of life for people living with long-term conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis, diabetes, breast cancer and inflammatory bowel disease, among others. He is passionate about health innovation, behavioural medicine, and the role of technology in improving healthcare access.
