/Our Short Story
=> I started ministry as a single in 2011, known as Peculiar Generation
=> In 2014, I got married to a wonderful woman and continued with the youth ministry
=> In 2018, the youth ministry translated into a fellowship known as "Thursday Fellowship" under the name Bethel Int'l Gospel Assembly.
=> In 2019, Bethel Int'l Gospel Assembly started operating a holistic ministry with Sunday Services. Hmmm 🤔🤔🤔 there's nothing we didn't hear, all sort of accusations, mockery to a point that many people cut ties with us. We became strangers to some people who we once eat from the same plate. That's a story for another day.
In 2021, we got registered with C.A.C as a Corporate body but this time, we could not pull through with the name Bethel Int'l Gospel Assembly. We were then registered as BETHEL MERRYLAND HILLS CHURCH.
The church started with a wood work without a roof, no floor, no instruments, we were renting chairs, at other times we borrowed chairs from neighbors. From there, we were able to put some rough zincs around the church, to cover our "nakedness" Family & friends started donating chairs & money which got us the instruments we have today.
=> Early in 2024, thieves entered the church, vandalized the wiring and carted away with all the wires and 2 generating plants (small & big).
=> On 6th October 2024, the church turned 6 years old. Then in November 2024, God remembered us. It's a "November to Remember" and we are gradually developing the church. In the midst of economic turbulence, God is doing His work by Himself. He is using different people whose names cannot be mentioned for certain reasons.
