Sermon Title: Walking in the Supernatural
Opening Scripture:
Mark 16:17–18 – “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.”

Introduction
Beloved, the Christian life is not meant to be ordinary. When Christ came, He didn’t just give us religion; He gave us His Spirit, His power, and His life. The supernatural is not reserved for a few pastors or prophets—it is the inheritance of every believer who walks in faith and obedience to God.
The word supernatural simply means “beyond the natural, beyond human ability, empowered by God.”
---
1. Understanding the Supernatural
The supernatural is God working in and through man to accomplish what is humanly impossible.
Christianity itself is supernatural:
The virgin birth of Jesus (Luke 1:34–35).
His miracles of healing, deliverance, and provision.
His resurrection from the dead.
The coming of the Holy Spirit on Pentecost (Acts 2).
If you remove the supernatural, you reduce Christianity to mere philosophy or religion.
---
2. The Source of the Supernatural
The Holy Spirit is the custodian of the supernatural (Acts 1:8).
Jesus operated in the supernatural because He was anointed (Acts 10:38).
As children of God, we too are anointed and empowered to manifest God’s power (1 John 2:20).
---
3. Why We Must Walk in the Supernatural
1. To demonstrate God’s power and glory (John 11:40).
2. To confirm the preaching of the Gospel (Mark 16:20).
3. To destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8).
4. To help humanity—healing the sick, setting captives free, providing solutions.
5. To live victorious lives above fear, oppression, and limitations.
