Title: Do not shut it

Text: When David returned home to bless his own family, Michal, the daughter of Saul, came out to meet him. She said in disgust, “How distinguished the king of Israel looked today, shamelessly exposing himself to the servant girls like any vulgar person might do! – 2 Samuel 6:20 NLT

Michal was disgusted by the way David was giving God praise and thanks after successfully bringing the ark of the Lord. Michal wasn’t joining David to give thanks to God, nor was she allowing David to give thanks to God as he should. If you won’t give God thanks or praise, at least don’t be a stumbling block to others who are offering praise to God. She would not praise God, and she tried to stop others from praising God. Heaven was displeased and was shut against her. Michal remained childless her whole life. Don’t be an obstacle to yourself and others to cause heaven to be shut against you.

TODAY'S PRAYER: I choose to praise God and refuse to be a stumbling block to others’ praising God so that heaven will not be shut against me.

Title: Connected to God

Text: After his baptism, as Jesus came up out of the water, the heavens were opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and settling on him. And a voice from heaven said, “This is my dearly loved son, who brings me great joy. - Matthew 3:16-17 NLT

Jesus was being baptized, and the heavens opened, and the voice of God spoke and said, "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." Men spend a considerable amount of time and energy seeking meaningful human connections. There’s nothing wrong with that, but the primary and most important connection you need is a heavenly one. When you are connected to God, He will connect you with the men and women you need on earth. Are you connected to God? If you are a child of God, you are connected to both heaven and God. And because you are connected to heaven, God will cause the men and women you need on earth to find you and help you do the will of God for your life.

TODAY'S PRAYER: Thank you, LORD, for the blessing of being connected to you and for connecting me to the men and women I need to fulfill your plan for my life.

Title: Bring your Father joy

As much as the Father loves us unconditionally, He is more pleased when we bring Him great joy. To have an open heaven over you, you need to be intentional in pleasing the heavenly Father so that He can say the same about you: "You are His dearly beloved child who brings Him great joy.” Let it be your priority in life to always give God great joy in your conduct, speech, and attitude. This is the way to appreciate Him for His great love towards you.

TODAY'S PRAYER: I am your beloved child, and I will continually bring you great joy in all that I do. Amen.

Title: When God opens

Text: The Lord will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow. - Deuteronomy 28:12 NKJV

What God opens no one can shut, and what God shuts no one can open. God has commanded an open heaven over your life, and no man or devil can shut the sky. They do not like your face, but they cannot stop the heavens from releasing rain in your life. They think you are not qualified, but they cannot stop the work of God in your life. You cannot be stopped because God has commanded open heavens in your life. When God opens something for you, the dislike or hatred of the wicked cannot close it. You are unstoppable because the heavens are open over you.

TODAY'S PRAYER: God has commanded open heavens over my life, and my heavens cannot be shut.

Title: The blessing of open heavens

Text: The Lord will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow. - Deuteronomy 28:12 NKJV

Today's scripture says that the Lord will open the heavens and give rain to your land to bless all that you lay your hands to do. God is committed to causing you to be fruitful, multiply, and dominate in this life. Today’s scripture says that because of the blessings from an open heaven, you will be a lender, not a borrower. The heavens over you are open continually, and all your righteous labor prospers and is a blessing to you. You cannot labor in vain when there is an open heaven over your life. Open heavens will minister grace, favor, and life that will cause you to thrive in the earth. So do not be afraid to work, as open heavens have been commanded over your life.

TODAY'S PRAYER: Thank you, my God and my Father, for commanding open heavens over my life and causing me to live the blessed life.
