Title: More are on your side

Text: And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them. - 2 Kings 6:16 KJV

The prophet and his servant found themselves in a challenging situation. A vast army had encompassed or surrounded the city where they were. The opposition against them was massive, tough, and, to the physical eye, more numerous than they were. The prophet encouraged him by saying, "They that are for us are more than those who are against us." It is still true today. You may feel overwhelmed, discouraged, and even weary, but more are on your side than against you. God is on your side. Heaven is on your side. Angels are on your side. Power is with you. You cannot be defeated. The opposition cannot prevail over you because those for you outnumber those against you. All of heaven is on your side, so hell and the world cannot beat you.

TODAY'S PRAYER: All the time God’s side is the winning side, and because I am on God’s side, I will win.

Title: Above only

Text: And the flood was forty days upon the earth, and the waters increased and bare up the ark, and it was lift up above the earth. - Genesis 7:17 KJV

There was a flood of trouble and disaster, but Noah overcame it. He lived above only. Above is a position or place of victory. God allowed the flood because He knew He would help Noah handle the situation. Wherever you are now, God sees. He knows that He has already equipped you with what it takes to win. The floodwater of trouble cannot drown or overcome you. God is with you, and that guarantees you will live above it all. You will come out on top. Do not let the situation intimidate you. God is with you, and you will come out victorious. You and your God will triumph irrespective of how long or how difficult the situation may be. You are born to be above only—a position of victory, especially when God is on your side, and He is your ark.

TODAY'S PRAYER: I am forgiven, redeemed from the curse of the law, and have been restored to a position of victory.

Title: God is our refuge

Text: And the Lord said unto Noah, come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation. - Genesis 7:1 KJV

There is so much happening in the world we live in. The present times are indeed troubled times. They are dangerous, or what the Bible calls perilous times. Darkness indeed covers the world, and gross darkness covers the people of the world. Fear, worry, anxiety, uncertainty, and hopelessness are in the hearts of many a man or woman. When God sent a flood to destroy the earth, He provided an ark to hide Noah and all that was with him. You have a hiding place in God. Do not be fretful and anxious like those in the world. God is your ark of refuge. He is your hiding place. He is your shelter in the storm. When the flood has come and passed, you will still be standing because God is your ark. He is your unfailing refuge or place of safety from the storm.

TODAY'S PRAYER: The LORD is my strong refuge and shelter in every storm, and I will not be afraid.

Title: Trust God and do not fear

Text: He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.- Psalm 91:1-2 KJV

The psalmist not only confesses the promise of protection but also hears what he said—in Him I will trust. Trusting God is another element that activates the promise of protection for our lives as children of God. Trust God and do not fear or be afraid of the fear of the wicked. The wicked have every reason to be afraid because they do not know God. Children of God, on the other hand, have no reason to be afraid because they know God. Fear nothing and no one when you have God with you. Trust God and do not be afraid. God is always faithful to keep you in all ways, so trust God and do not be afraid.

TODAY'S PRAYER: I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust and will not be afraid.

Title: Activate divine protection

Text: He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. - Psalm 91:1-2 KJV

Hear what the psalmist says in today’s scripture. I will say, "The LORD is my refuge." In other words, even though you are hidden in the secret place and sheltered in the highest place, you still need to do something to activate the protection that is available to you. You activate divine protection with your words. In the kingdom of God, we possess our inheritance by confessing the word of God. Remember, your confession saved you and baptized you into the kingdom. To live the kingdom life and obtain your possession, you must continually learn to confess what is yours. Activate the promise of divine protection by declaring the promises of God for your life.

TODAY'S PRAYER: I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

Title: The highest place

Text: He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. - Psalm 91:1 KJV

The place that you, as a child of God, are sheltered from the wicked is not only a secret place, but it is also a high place. Scripture refers to it as the secret place of the Most High. It is the highest place, and it is beyond the reach of the wicked and wickedness. God is Most High, and your life is hidden in Him, so you are sheltered from the kingdom of darkness. You are seated in the highest place—the secret place of the Most High God. You are beyond the reach of the wicked one. The secret place of the Most High God is also the Highest in all of creation. God has not left your protection to chance or luck. He is intentional and has sheltered you in the Most High place, beyond the reach of the evil one.

TODAY'S PRAYER: My life is sheltered with Christ in God and in the highest place far beyond the reach of the wicked.

Title: The secret place

Text: He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. - Psalm 91:1 KJV

The devil roams to and fro looking for whom to devour. He is hungry, but not everyone is edible. Children of God are not edible for the devil because their security is in God. When you make Jesus the LORD of your life, you are automatically transferred out of the kingdom of darkness (the kingdom ruled by the devil) to the Kingdom of God (ruled by Jesus Christ). The transfer puts your life under the shadow of the Almighty. It's called the secret place because it is inaccessible to the wicked one. He may look for whom to devour, but he won't find you because your life is hidden in the secret place of the Most High. Yes, God has a secret place where you are sheltered from the wicked and all their attacks. In God, your life is hid with Christ, so do not fear the schemes of the wicked one.

TODAY'S PRAYER: My life is hid with Christ in God and safe in the secret place of the Most High God.

Title: Remember God's blessings

Text: Remember his marvelous works that he hath done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth. - Psalm 105:5 KJV

The psalmist is thankful because he remembers the marvelous works and wonders that God has done. The Bible says we are not ignorant of the enemy's devices, but sometimes we are. The enemy reminds you of only those things that God has not done so that you can be sad, complain, and be unthankful. You say life is not fair, but God has still been faithful. You have disappointments, but God is not one of the disappointments. What are you remembering? The unanswered prayer points or the prayer points that have been turned into praise reports. The old saying that advises us to count our blessings and name them one by one remains valid today. Remember the works God has done in your life and be thankful.

TODAY'S PRAYER: I will not keep quiet but will count all God’s blessings in my life and give Him thanks.
