Introducing Civics Series

Do you know your rights and duties as a citizen of Nigeria?

Do you know how government works?

Do you know government and good governance is everybody’s [every citizen’s] business?

If leadership at the centre or at all levels in Nigeria is bad, do you know you could be part of the fault?

Civics Series is a nonprofit social project of the Catholic Youth Organization of Nigeria, Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Cathedral, Catholic Diocese of Kano, North-West Nigeria. The project is goal four of the 2017 – 2019 Strategic Plan of the organization’s Project Committee; aligned with goals 3 (Education) and 4 (Good Governance) of Caritas Nigeria1 and Sustainable Development Goals 4 (Education) and 4, 16 (Good Governance; Peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development) of United Nations’ global development agenda 2030.

OLF CYON Singles Summit 2018

The journey to 'I do'

What are those issues keeping you from taking the bold step on the journey to 'I do' with your co-youth member?

Come let's iron them out together, once and for all.

From Tuesday, April 17th to Sunday, April 22nd, 2018 by 5.30pm to 8.30pm daily at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Cathedral, Kano the youths - open to every Catholic youth - will gather to interact and iron out pre-marriage and relationship issues under the guidance of distinguished marriage counselors.

If you're a youth and you aren't there, you aren't anywhere highly important to you and to the future society.
