FAITH COMES BY HEARING

Romans 10:17 (NKJV), "So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God."

Today is DAY 2 in our devotional series: A LIFE OF FAITH. Today, we are learning how faith grows.

Faith does not grow accidentally. What you continually hear will eventually influence what you believe. If you constantly feed your heart with fear, bad reports and negative voices, your confidence in God can become weakened.

If you want stronger faith, increase your intake of God's Word. Proverbs 4:20-21 (NKJV) says, "My son, give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them of your heart."

Be intentional about what enters your heart. Read the Word. Listen to it. Meditate on it. Give God's Word more attention than the voices feeding your fears. The more your heart becomes established in what God has said, the stronger your confidence in Him becomes.

If you want to grow your faith, feed your faith with God's Word.

FURTHER STUDY: Joshua 1:8 (NKJV), "This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success."

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO LIVE BY FAITH?

Romans 1:17 (NKJV), "For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, ‘The just shall live by faith.’"

Welcome to another beautiful Sunday. Today, we are starting a new devotional series titled: A LIFE OF FAITH.

Faith is not something we use only when we need a miracle. God designed faith to be the believer's way of life. To live by faith means to build your confidence, decisions and expectations on God and His Word.

Faith trusts what God has said even when circumstances suggest otherwise. Hebrews 11:1 (NKJV) says, "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."

Do not reserve faith for emergencies. Trust God with your family, finances, health, career, ministry and future. Ask yourself regularly, "What has God said about this?" Then allow His Word to shape how you think and respond.

Faith is not just for getting things from God. Faith is how we walk with God every day.

FURTHER STUDY: 2 Corinthians 5:7 (NKJV), "For we walk by faith, not by sight."

ATTRIBUTE THE GLORY TO THE GRACE OF GOD

1 Corinthians 4:7 (NKJV), "For who makes you differ from another? And what do you have that you did not receive? Now if you did indeed receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it?"

Today is DAY 3 and the final teaching in our devotional series: MADE BY GRACE. Today, we are reminded to give grace the glory.

There is nothing wrong with celebrating your progress. Work hard, pursue excellence and be grateful for your accomplishments. But never become so impressed with yourself that you forget that it is the grace of God that made it all possible.

Your abilities, opportunities, relationships and strength are gifts from God. Even your capacity to work and produce results comes from Him. Deuteronomy 8:18 (NKJV) says, "And you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth."

Success should make you more grateful, not more arrogant. When God lifts you, remember Him. When people celebrate you, point the glory back to Him. You may have worked hard, but grace gave your efforts room to flourish.

Always give grace the glory.

FURTHER STUDY: Psalm 115:1 (NKJV), "Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but to Your name give glory, because of Your mercy, because of Your truth."

CONFESSION: I BOLDLY CONFESS, I WILL REMAIN HUMBLE AND GRATEFUL AS GOD LIFTS ME. I ACKNOWLEDGE HIS GRACE BEHIND MY PROGRESS, AND THROUGH MY LIFE AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS, GOD ALONE WILL RECEIVE THE GLORY.

GRACE IS NOT AN EXCUSE FOR LAZINESS

Titus 2:11-12 (NKJV), "For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age."

Today is DAY 2 in our devotional series: MADE BY GRACE. Today, we are reminded that grace does not make us passive; it empowers us and teaches us to live responsibly.

Grace is not an excuse for laziness. Paul understood grace as divine empowerment to become and accomplish what human strength alone could not achieve. God supplies grace, but we must respond with diligence and hard work in the direction of the grace we have received.

Philippians 2:13 (NKJV) says, "For it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure."

Therefore, do not sit idle and call it dependence on God. Pray, then work. Trust God, then take responsible steps. Develop yourself. Show up. Give your best. Grace does not cancel effort; it empowers effective effort.

When grace is truly working in you, it should produce a more responsible, disciplined and fruitful life.

FURTHER STUDY: Proverbs 13:4 (NKJV), "The soul of a lazy man desires, and has nothing; but the soul of the diligent shall be made rich."

CONFESSION: I BOLDLY CONFESS, GOD'S GRACE EMPOWERS ME TO LIVE RESPONSIBLY AND DILIGENTLY. I REJECT LAZINESS AND PASSIVITY. I GIVE MY BEST TO EVERY WORTHY ASSIGNMENT AND PRODUCE EXCELLENT RESULTS BY GRACE.

MADE BY GRACE

1 Corinthians 15:10 (NKJV), "But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me."

Welcome to this wonderful brand new month of OCTOBER 2026 where we are REIGNING BY GRACE. Today, we are starting a new devotional series titled: MADE BY GRACE.

Paul looked at his life and recognised that he was a product of grace. He worked hard, but he never became so impressed with his efforts that he forgot the God who empowered him.

The same should be true of us. You may have worked, studied, prayed and made sacrifices to get where you are, but never forget the grace behind your progress. Ephesians 2:10 (NKJV) says, "For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them."

You are God's workmanship. You are not self-made; you are grace-made. Therefore, stay grateful. Work diligently, but remain conscious of the One whose grace is working in you.

FURTHER STUDY: James 1:17 (NKJV), "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning."

CONFESSION: I BOLDLY CONFESS, I AM A PRODUCT OF GOD'S GRACE. HIS GRACE IS AT WORK IN ME, SHAPING, STRENGTHENING AND EMPOWERING ME TO FULFIL HIS PURPOSE FOR MY LIFE.

PRAISE CHANGES YOUR PERSPECTIVE

Psalm 34:1 (NKJV), "I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth."

Welcome to the very last day of the month of September 2026. I am so glad that we are ending the month talking about praise! Today, we conclude this devotional series: THE WONDERS OF PRAISE.

Praise has a powerful way of changing what occupies your attention. Problems can look enormous when they are all you think and talk about. Praise turns your attention from the size of the problem to the greatness of God.

Psalm 34:3 (NKJV) says, "Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together."

To magnify God does not make Him bigger; it makes His greatness bigger in your consciousness. Instead of constantly rehearsing what is wrong, deliberately remember what God has done. Speak about His faithfulness. Sing about His goodness. Thank Him for His mercies.

As September ends today, do not end it complaining about what has not happened. Look back, count your blessings, and give God praise!

FURTHER STUDY: Psalm 103:2 (NKJV), "Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits."

CONFESSION: I BOLDLY CONFESS, MY HEART IS FILLED WITH GRATITUDE. I MAGNIFY THE LORD ABOVE EVERY SITUATION. I REMEMBER HIS GOODNESS, CELEBRATE HIS FAITHFULNESS, AND ENTER THE NEW MONTH WITH PRAISE!

PRAISE IS A WEAPON OF WAR

2 Chronicles 20:22 (NKJV), "Now when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushes against the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; and they were defeated."

Today is DAY 3 in our devotional series: THE WONDERS OF PRAISE. Today, we are learning that praise is a powerful spiritual weapon.

King Jehoshaphat faced an army too strong for Judah. Yet, instead of allowing fear to dominate them, they praised God. Their praise became part of their warfare, and God fought for them.

Psalm 149:6 (NKJV) says, "Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand."

Praise is not merely what you do when everything is fine. You can praise in the middle of a battle. Instead of magnifying the enemy, magnify God. Instead of rehearsing the problem endlessly, declare the greatness and faithfulness of God.

When battles arise, do not lose your praise. Praise God deliberately and trust Him to fight for you.

FURTHER STUDY: Exodus 15:2 (NKJV), "The Lord is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation; He is my God, and I will praise Him; my father's God, and I will exalt Him."

CONFESSION: I BOLDLY CONFESS, PRAISE IS IN MY MOUTH. I MAGNIFY GOD ABOVE EVERY BATTLE. THE LORD IS MY STRENGTH, AND I TRUST HIM TO FIGHT FOR ME AND GIVE ME VICTORY.

UNDERSTANDING THE POWER OF PRAISE

Psalm 150:6 (NKJV), "Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD!"

Welcome to another beautiful Sunday. Today, we are starting a new devotional series titled: THE WONDERS OF PRAISE. This is DAY 1, and we begin by understanding praise.

Praise is the deliberate expression of honour, admiration and gratitude to God for who He is and what He has done. It may be expressed through singing, speaking, shouting, dancing or thanksgiving. Praise is much more than music; it is a response of the heart to God's greatness.

Psalm 34:1 (NKJV) says, "I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth."

Notice the words, "at all times." Praise should not depend on whether everything is going well. God remains worthy when circumstances are pleasant and when they are difficult.

Do not wait for another miracle before you praise God. If you still have breath, you already have a reason to praise!

FURTHER STUDY: Hebrews 13:15 (NKJV), "Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name."

CONFESSION: I BOLDLY CONFESS, I AM A PRAISER OF GOD. HIS PRAISE CONTINUALLY FILLS MY MOUTH. IN EVERY SEASON AND CIRCUMSTANCE, I CHOOSE TO HONOUR, CELEBRATE AND MAGNIFY THE LORD.
