BE HONOURABLE

1 Peter 2:17 (NKJV), "Honour all people. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king."

Welcome to this beautiful new month of MAY 2026. As we start this month, we will quickly look at two (2) part mini-devotional series titled: THE POWER OF HONOUR.

Honour is about ascribing value and expressing value towards something or someone of worth. This is a good attitude to live your life by!

The first place to truly begin in the school of honour is for you to honour yourself! Value yourself, consider yourself to be made in the image and likeness of the almighty God. BE HONOURABLE!

There are words you should not use. Places you should not be found. Clothes you should not wear because you are the child of the King of Kings! Start this month with a decision that you will always treat yourself with honour and high esteem.

1 Corinthians 6:20 (NKJV) says, "For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's." You are not ordinary. Your life carries divine value. When you honour yourself rightly, you will naturally honour others and God.

FURTHER STUDY: Proverbs 4:23 (NKJV), "Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life."

WEALTH MUST SERVE KINGDOM PURPOSE

1 Timothy 6:17-18 (NKJV), "Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy. Let them do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to give, willing to share."

Over the past four days, we have learnt so much on this topic: SWIMMING IN KINGDOM WEALTH. Today being DAY 5, we would be looking at the last teaching in this devotional series.

God does not bless His people so they can live selfishly and only for themselves. Kingdom wealth carries responsibility. What God puts in your hand should bless lives, further kingdom agenda, and honour Him. Matthew 6:33 (NKJV) says, "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you."

When wealth becomes your confidence, it can weaken your dependence on God. But when wealth becomes a tool for service, generosity, and Kingdom advancement, it fulfils divine purpose. Let what you have answer needs around you and support what matters to God.

FURTHER STUDY: Acts 20:35 (NKJV), "I have shown you in every way, by labouring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, It is more blessed to give than to receive."

DILIGENCE ATTRACTS INCREASE

Proverbs 22:29 (NKJV), "Do you see a man who excels in his work? He will stand before kings; He will not stand before unknown men."

Hope you have been learning so much in our current devotional series: SWIMMING IN KINGDOM WEALTH. Today is DAY 4. Today's article calls us to embrace diligence as a Kingdom value.

God's blessing does not flow towards laziness. Grace does not remove responsibility. The believer must learn to work with seriousness, excellence, and consistency. Increase often comes through faithful attention to what is already in your hands. Proverbs 12:24 (NKJV) says, "The hand of the diligent will rule, But the lazy man will be put to forced labour."

Do not despise small tasks. Do not wait for a big platform before becoming disciplined. Excellence in little things prepares you for greater trust. God often opens larger doors for those who remain faithful in daily assignments.

FURTHER STUDY: Ecclesiastes 9:10 (NKJV), "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going."

CONFESSION: I BOLDLY CONFESS, I AM DILIGENT, EXCELLENT, AND FAITHFUL, AND GOD CAUSES MY WORK TO PRODUCE INCREASE.

GENEROSITY OPENS KINGDOM WEALTH CHANNELS

Luke 6:38 (NKJV), "Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you."

Have you been blessed so far in this devotional series: SWIMMING IN KINGDOM WEALTH. Today is DAY 3. Today's article teaches us that Kingdom wealth flows well towards generous hearts.

A closed hand cannot receive much. God designed giving as a channel, not a loss. When you give with faith, you show that your trust is in God's supply and not in what you hold. 2 Corinthians 9:6 (NKJV) says, "But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully."

Generosity is not only about money. It includes kindness, help, time, and support. The believer who learns to release becomes a vessel through which God keeps resources moving. Do not fear giving when God leads you. What leaves your hand in obedience does not leave your life, it will come back multiplied.

FURTHER STUDY: Proverbs 11:25 (NKJV), "The generous soul will be made rich, And he who waters will also be watered himself."

Today, we joyfully celebrate our beloved spiritual grandma on her 66th birthday!🎉🎂

Mummy, you are truly a mother in every sense—full of wisdom, grace, strength, and unwavering love. Your life has been a wellspring of nurture, guidance, and godly example to us across the years. Through your prayers, your words, and your quiet sacrifices, you have raised generations and shaped destinies.

We honour you today and thank God for the gift that you are to our Global Ministry. May your years be continually filled with divine health, overflowing joy, and the sweet rewards of a life poured out in love.

Happy 66th Birthday, Grandma! We love and celebrate you deeply. 🎉💖

KINGDOM WEALTH FLOWS THROUGH OBEDIENCE

Isaiah 1:19 (NKJV), "If you are willing and obedient, You shall eat the good of the land;"

Today is DAY 2 in our devotional series: SWIMMING IN KINGDOM WEALTH. Today's article teaches us that obedience is one of the clear pathways through which divine supply reaches a believer.

God does not only bless desire; He blesses yielded hearts. Many people pray for increase, yet ignore simple instructions from God's Word. Obedience keeps your life aligned with divine order and opens room for lasting results. Joshua 1:8 (NKJV) says, "This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success."

Notice that prosperity follows doing. When God speaks, respond quickly. When His Word corrects you, adjust gladly. Kingdom wealth flows better where obedience is present.

FURTHER STUDY: Psalm 128:1 (NKJV), "Blessed is every one who fears the Lord, Who walks in His ways."

APPLICATION POINTS FROM THIS WEEK'S DEVO SERIES

James 1:22 (NKJV), "But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves."

We have reached DAY 6 of our devotional series: CHRISTIAN DISCIPLESHIP, and what a journey it has been. With so much insight gained over the past days, the next step is clear: application.

1. BUILD DAILY SPIRITUAL HABITS
Set aside a definite time each day for prayer, Bible reading, and quiet reflection. Growth in discipleship becomes steady when spiritual habits become part of daily living.

2. SERVE WHERE YOU ARE
Look for simple ways to serve in your church, family, or community. Faithful service helps build humility, responsibility, and spiritual maturity.

3. PRACTISE PROMPT OBEDIENCE
Respond quickly to God's instruction and remain teachable under godly leadership. Small acts of obedience strengthen character and help you grow as a true disciple.

FURTHER STUDY: Luke 11:28 (NKJV), "More than that, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!"
