In a world where temptation is only a glance away, Islam teaches us that true strength is not in following every desire, but in controlling it for the sake of Allah.

Allah commands both believing men and women:

“Tell the believing men to lower their gaze and guard their chastity. That is purer for them. Indeed, Allah is All-Aware of what they do.”
(Qur’an 24:30)

And He says:

“And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and guard their chastity…”
(Qur’an 24:31)

The Prophet ﷺ also warned:

“The adultery of the eyes is looking (at that which is unlawful).”
(Sahih al-Bukhari 6243; Sahih Muslim 2657)

Every forbidden glance may seem small, but repeated sins harden the heart and distance a person from Allah. A few seconds of unchecked desire can leave a lasting regret, while lowering your gaze for Allah’s sake is an act of worship that brings purity to the heart and reward in the Hereafter.

Remember: Allah sees every glance that people do not. If you struggle, repent sincerely, seek His forgiveness, and strive again. Allah loves those who constantly turn back to Him.

May Allah make our eyes pure, protect our hearts from temptation, forgive our shortcomings, and grant us His mercy on the Day we stand before Him. Ameen.

Many people misunderstand the verse in Surah An-Nur (24:26). They think it means that in marriage a good person will always get a good spouse, but this is not correct.

Scholars explain that this verse is not talking about marriage at all. It was revealed about innocence and purity not about who you marry.

Even prophets had spouses who were not righteous, which proves this verse is not about marriage.

Prophet Nuh (عليه السلام) had a wife who denied Allah.

Prophet Lut (عليه السلام) had a wife who betrayed him.

And the worst man in history, Fir’oun, had Asiyah (رضي الله عنها) -one of the best women ever created.

If this verse was about marriage, these examples would not exist.

So how did a woman as pure as Asiyah end up with a tyrant like Fir’oun?

Because this dunya is not Jannah. This world is a test, and Allah sometimes places His most beloved servants in the most painful situations not to punish them, but to elevate them.

Asiyah wasn’t honored because of her marriage; she was honored despite it. Her imaan was so powerful that even living under the roof of the most oppressive man alive couldn’t shake her faith.

Instead, her patience raised her to the rank of one of the greatest women of all time.

Her du’a is recorded in the Qur’an:

“My Lord, build for me near You a house in Paradise” (Qur’an 66:11)

She didn’t ask for a house in Paradise first - she asked for a house near Allah. That is the level of closeness Allah granted her.

So the answer is simple:

Fir’oun was not a blessing for her he was the test that raised her above millions.

And Allah showed us through Asiyah that your spouse does not define your worth, your rank, or your destination.

Your imaan does.
Your sabr does.
Your du’a does.

And Allah’s true pairing is in the Hereafter, not in this world

someone claims that Jesus (peace be upon him) is God and is all-knowing, Muslims often point to verses in the Bible where Jesus shows limitations in knowledge, power, or dependence on God. Here are some commonly cited examples:
1. Jesus did not know the Hour
📖 Mark 13:32
"But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father."
This verse states that the Son (Jesus) did not know the time of the Final Hour, while the Father did.
2. Jesus prayed to God
📖 Luke 6:12
"Jesus went out to a mountainside to pray, and spent the night praying to God."
Muslims ask: If Jesus were God Himself, why would he pray to another being?
3. Jesus said the Father is greater than him
📖 John 14:28
"The Father is greater than I."
This indicates a distinction and hierarchy between Jesus and God.
4. Jesus could do nothing by himself
📖 John 5:30
"By myself I can do nothing..."
This shows dependence rather than absolute divine power.
5. Jesus was sent by God
📖 John 17:3
"Now this is eternal life: that they know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent."
Jesus refers to the Father as "the only true God" and himself as the one sent by God.
6. Jesus grew in wisdom
📖 Luke 2:52
"And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature..."
If someone grows in wisdom, it implies there were things he did not previously know.
7. Jesus experienced hunger and thirst
📖 Matthew 4:2
"He was hungry."
📖 John 19:28
"I thirst."
God does not need food or drink, whereas Jesus experienced human needs.
Islamic Perspective
The Qur'an teaches that Jesus (ʿIsa, peace be upon him) was one of the greatest prophets, born miraculously, but not God:
"Indeed, the example of Jesus to Allah is like that of Adam..." (Qur'an 3:59)
"The Messiah, son of Mary, was only a Messenger..." (Qur'an 5:75)
When discussing these matters with Christians, it is best to do so respectfully and with wisdom, as Allah says:
"And do not argue with the People of the Scripture except in a way that is best..." (Qur'an 29:46)

If we are to go back in time and ask jesus to quote Mathew chapter 5 he will aak what is Mathew chapter 5. Then i say quote corrinthious He won't know what am talking about. That is because.... What do you think might be the reason. But if ure to go back in time during the time of prophet Muhammad pbuh and ask Him to quote the exact surah Al-yasin He will quote it. Masha Allah that is because His revelation was not altered nor change.. This is the beauty of Islam
