*Just In: Kaduna Suspends LG Election In 4 LGAs*

The Kaduna State Independent Electoral Commission (KADSIECOM) has suspended the local government election slated to hold Saturday in four local government areas that are prone to insecurity.

The commission said on Friday that the suspension followed a security report that it would be impossible to conduct a peaceful local government elections in Kajuru, Birnin Gwari, Chikun and Zangon Kataf local government areas.

The commission’s chairman, Dr Saratu Binta Dikko-Audu said the suspension was to protect lives and property, including those of election staff and materials.

She said: “The election in these local government areas will now hold on Saturday 25th September 2021.

*SUNDAY SERVICE SERMON ON THE 21st FEBRUARY, 2021*

Topic: *_Walk in the plan of God and have a glorious ending_* (Gen 12:1-9)

Thought: Anyone who Wil walk in God's plan must be a lover of Him (God).
What are the challenges in walking in God's plan?
1. Discouragement Mt. 16:21-23; Gen. 12:10-11
2. Temptation Mt. 4:1-10
3. Fear

After overcoming the above challenges, you must take cognisance of the following:
- Be a faithful child of God
- Believe in Him to the end
- Leave everything to God to act as it so pleases Him. _Then you will experience the following:_
*1.* Divine visitation (Gen. 18:9)
*2.* Fulfillment of God's promise (Gen. 21:1-3)
*3.* You will laugh last (Gen. 21:6)
*4.* Authority will be given to you. (Mt. 28:18).

Topic: *DISOBEDIENCE*
Text: 1Kings 13:8-32

INTRODUCTION
_What is disobedience?_
Disobedience is the refusal and neglect to obey the word of God.
In other words, it's is the refusal to hear the word of God.
Furthermore, disobedience is, arrogantly doing what God says "do not do."

_*The consequences of disobedience*_
Disobedience leaves us to suffer the consequences of our actions.
1. It brings about loss. This could be physical or spiritually, or both in some cases (1 Sam. 28:15-18).

"15 And Samuel said to Saul, Why hast thou disquieted me, to bring me up? And Saul answered, I am sore distressed; for the Philistines make war against me, and God is departed from me, and answereth me no more, neither by prophets, nor by dreams: therefore I have called thee, that thou mayest make known unto me what I shall do.
16 Then said Samuel, Wherefore then dost thou ask of me, seeing the Lord is departed from thee, and is become thine enemy?
17And the Lord hath done to him, as he spake by me: for the Lord hath rent the kingdom out of thine hand, and given it to thy neighbour, even to David
18Because thou obeyedst not the voice of the Lord, nor executedst his fierce wrath upon Amalek, therefore hath the Lord done this thing unto thee this day." 1 Sam 28:15-18
