INTRODUCTION
_What is disobedience?_
Disobedience is the refusal and neglect to obey the word of God.
In other words, it's is the refusal to hear the word of God.
Furthermore, disobedience is, arrogantly doing what God says "do not do."
_*The consequences of disobedience*_
Disobedience leaves us to suffer the consequences of our actions.
1. It brings about loss. This could be physical or spiritually, or both in some cases (1 Sam. 28:15-18).
"15 And Samuel said to Saul, Why hast thou disquieted me, to bring me up? And Saul answered, I am sore distressed; for the Philistines make war against me, and God is departed from me, and answereth me no more, neither by prophets, nor by dreams: therefore I have called thee, that thou mayest make known unto me what I shall do.
16 Then said Samuel, Wherefore then dost thou ask of me, seeing the Lord is departed from thee, and is become thine enemy?

2. Regret (Jonah 1:1-7; 2:1-10)
3. Death (1 Sam. 28:19; 1 Kings 13:23)
"KJV:Moreover the Lord will also deliver Israel with thee into the hand of the Philistines: *and to morrow shalt thou and thy sons be with me* (death in the household of Saul): the Lord also shall deliver the host of Israel into the hand of the Philistines." 1Sam. 28:19
"KJV:And when he was gone, a lion met him by the way, and slew him: and his carcase was cast in the way, and the ass stood by it, the lion also stood by the carcase." 1 Kings 13:24
These and many others are the things that may befall individuals who fail to obey God's simple instructions. Desist from the act of disobedience so that you may not experienc
