The house of prayer is the place of worship. The ground of the house of prayer is holy ground.

The Eternal Sacred Order of Cherubim and Seraphim (ESOCS) is the first indigenous African church established in Nigeria by St Moses Orimolade Tunolase (Ajagunmokadi) in 1925. Members and visitors are required to conduct themselves with utmost respect and reverence within its premises (Leviticus 26:1-2). Shoes are not allowed on Holy Grounds (Joshua 5:15). Menstruating women are not allowed in the

house of prayer until the eighth day from the beginning of their me**es (Leviticus 15:19). Dead bodies are not allowed in the house of prayer (Ezekiel 43:9). Alcohol is forbidden in and around the house of prayer (Leviticus 10:8-9). Smoking is forbidden in and around the house of prayer. Attitude of Prayer

We pray facing the altar on our knees with our eyes closed and our heads bowed. Elderly and disabled persons uncomfortable with kneeling may seat with their eyes closed and their heads bowed (Psalm 95: 6).
