A young woman called off her wedding just weeks before the big day.
The reason?
Her fiancé refused to cover the cost of outfits and accessories for her bridal train at both their traditional and white wedding.
She had assembled a group of about 15 friends and colleagues, assuring them that her husband-to-be would foot the bill for their attire.
The chosen materials and accessories ran into millions, and she fully expected him to pay.
Despite knowing her fiancé’s financial limitations, she pressured him to take out a loan just to impress her friends.
"I already told them my man is an Odogwu,
A man of means who can handle all the expenses, including theirs. Why would you embarrass me now? she told him.
