HEAD-COVERING: EVIDENCE OF BEWITCHMENT IN THE END-TIME CHURCH….
For 2,000 years in the Christian faith, generally speaking, women of ALL ages, social backgrounds, nationalities, etc, COVERED THEIR HEADS in the church as clearly instructed in the Bible.
Then in a single generation (our generation), women in MOST church circles today have DISCARDED THE HEAD-COVERING, and now worship God with open heads – LIKE MEN! (For indeed, Satan wants women to BE LIKE MEN and LOOK LIKE MEN in all things).
In just one SINGLE generation!!!
What happened? Why did it happen?
Before we go to the ‘WHY’, let’s consider a simple evidence, and then you can make up your mind on this subject.
The head covering/uncovering ordinance is contained in ONLY 15 verses of the Bible (1 Corinthians 11:2-16). In those 15 verses, Apostle Paul, writing under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, gave believers SEVEN REASONS why this ordinance is binding on ALL believers - in ALL PLACES, at ALL TIMES. SEVEN REASONS. Paul did so by hinging the commandment on DIVINE PRINCIPLES that are ETERNAL in both value and application. These are:
(1) God’s structure of authority (verse 3)
(2) Honouring or disgracing spiritual headship (verses 4-5)
(3) The glory of God (verse 7)
(4) The glory of man (verse 7)
(5) God's order of creation (verses 8-9)
(6) Because of Angels (verse 10)
(7) What God teaches mankind through nature (verses 14-15)
All these seven values are contained within those 15 verses. Please note: 15 verses, NOT 15 chapters! So, it is SIMPLE to see. SIMPLE to read.
YET, believers of today TRASH ALL THESE ETERNAL VALUES to believe the FABLE peddled by philosophers that boldly claim that this ordinance is NOT applicable in our days. That it is a local tradition that applies to ONLY Corinth and surrounding Middle-Eastern cultures!!! God’s words vs man’s philosophy! Yet, man’s philosophy wins in MOST of our churches….
If the bases of the ordinance are eternal as listed earlier (God’s glory, God’s authority structure, God’s order of creation, etc), why would the application be LOCALISED to only Corinth and environment? Do these eternal values not also apply to the women in Ibadan, New York, Timbuktu, etc???
Now consider this: Why are millions and millions and millions of believers all over the world ABANDONING what is CLEARLY written in black and white in the Bible to EMBRACE the human philosophy that teaches them that this is a local custom? The answer is in one word: BEWITCHMENT!
The bewitchment that makes a man to leave an obvious SUBSTANCE, and devote a lot of energy to chase an evaporating shadow. BEWITCHMENT!
And it is a strategic bewitchment. Because Satan knows the symbolism of head covering/uncovering in the spiritual realm! It is a symbol that communicates to the spiritual realm that, by observing the ordinance, the Church of Christ is AFFIRMING that she submits to God’s authority structure as outlined in 1 Corinthians 11:3, “But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.”
Conversely, rejecting/ignoring the symbol means the Church of Christ DOES NOT SUBMIT to God’s hierarchy as stated in 1 Corinthians 11:3! (Please remember that, in verses 4-5, the passage says to ignore the symbol is to DISGRACE SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY). Thus, to close the door on God is to AUTOMATICALLY open the door for Satan – for there is no vacuum in the spiritual realm. Therefore, rejecting God’s symbolism of authority AUTOMATICALLY gives demon spirits A LEGITIMATE GROUND in the church!
And demons have been using this legitimacy to invade the church in hordes! This is one of the many reasons why the church is in a very, very bad shape today. And it will only get progressively worse until Jesus returns. This is why Jesus wondered if He’ll find faith on earth when He returns! (Luke 18:8). Most believers would have abandoned the faith to give heed to seducing spirits (1 Timothy 4:1-2).
Child of God, please DO NOT JOIN the women that are sending this evil signal to the heavenly realm. Display your submission by covering your head when praying or prophesying in the church. And No! No!! No!!! The HAIR IS NOT THE COVERING. This is ANOTHER deception, just so that women will leave their heads uncovered – LIKE MEN. We’ll deal with this deception in another article, God willing.
Please, cover your head in the church. Ignorance is NOT an excuse in the realm of the spirit. Putting something on your head is not too much to ask when you worship God. Do not join the multitude to do evil in this end-time. Please go back to the ancient landmarks that were set by the Apostles of Christ, under the leading of the Holy Spirit.
