JANUARY HIGHLIGHT ON FAMILY TONIC With Pastor Samuel Olowononi.
INTRODUCTION
The Christian home is not just a building, it is an atmosphere, a place where you are always
eager to be.
A happy home is always the dream of couples. A happy home does not just happen it must be
develop. Nothing happens by chance, it does not drop from the sky.
The Christian church cannot flourish without the Christian home. The Christian home is the
backbone of the nation, the salt of civilization.
WHAT A CHRISTIAN HOME IS:
a. An institution where all members are bound by Christian love. Col. 3:18-22
b. Where children are motivated in the way of God. Gen. 18:19; Deut. 6:7.
c. Where members enjoy family worship Jos. 24:15
d. Where members enjoy rest, privacy and a sense of security. Ps. 137:1-6
e. Where members uphold equity, loyalty, honesty and cooperation. 1 Cor. 7:3-4
f. Where Christ is radiated and hospitality is accomplished. Rom. 12:13
g. Where tomorrow's nation is processed. Gen. 18:18
FACTORS RESPONSIBLE FOR CHRISTIAN HOME
There are many factors responsible for Christian home. 95% of Christian famuly today are
neglecting these factors. If we will change our attitude today by giving our attention to the
factors for Christian home, we will experience heaven in our home.
These are the factors:
1. LOVE: Love is the true foundation of the family, genuine love maintains good
relationship. There is no successful marriage without love. Love creates, love builds, and
unites. 1 Cor. 13:4-7.
