...'It pays to serve Jesus...'

Celebrate the Lord's faithfulness with me for making it possible to see the 34 years of my pastoral and teaching ministry with ECWA as a church.

Indeed, the Lord has been so gracious to me and blessing me with good health and favor.
Thank you for being part of my ministry and providing your shoulders for me to lean on in this ministry. Thank you for standing with me on this journey.

You are my treasures and trophies. I will continue to count on you for prayers to finish well and strong.

May the Lord bless you and make you prosperous.
Pray along with me as I run this heavenly race.
Look up! He will soon come for His church.

Text: Exodus 14:14
Topic: Be still!!

Introduction: One of Satan's strategy on the believer is to create fear. Fear is a poison against the believer's faith. There are many challenges that so overwhelmed us thereby slowing our spiritual speed and causing distractions.

I admonish us this week to be still as the Lord has taken charge of that which Satan is using against you. May you remain calm as the Lord is already fighting your battles and victory is guaranteed this week in Jesus' name.

What is happening to you is used of the devil to break you down. I see the Lord rather building you to a higher level. There cant be a crown without crisis. Crisis come to enable us wear a crown.

May you wear a crown of victory this week. May you experience an open door even this day.
Happy new week.

Text: Matthew 14:22-31
Topic: Lord, Save Me

Introduction: In our village, there is this species of beans which first comes to break hunger called 'mai ceto.' I welcome us to the month of our salvation (deliverance). This also marks the beginning of the Ember months. We have gone through tough times as a people and as a nation. We have gone through many hurdles but we have enjoyed the mercies of the Lord. This reminds us of Psalm 23:6a "Surely, goodness and mercy shall follow us all the days of our lives...' To enter the ninth month is 'Just the Lord.'
I dedicate the above passage to all my friends. This was an an experience of Jesus' disciples who at first saw Jesus but couldn't recognize him. They 'thought it was a ghost...' (v26) Many funny experiences must have caused us not to recognize Jesus for the past eight months and so we were terrified.
For this new month, I admonished us to take courage as it is 'the Lord' with you in this journey.
I wish you the boldness of Peter to step out in faith and walk on your impossibilities. Yes, people always think of the negative on Peter and will always forget about his positive sides. One positive thing is that 'he walked on the water's even if he sank. Move out of your crisis zone and face the Lord who saves. You will record a significant breakthrough this month because you will meet with the 'Lord who saves.'
When Peter discovered he was sinking he cried out. Remember to cry out when you are overtaken by many uncertainties. Cry out to the Lord who journeys with you and he will reach to you with his hand.
May you cry out your challenges and the Lord will offer his hand to deliver you from your opposers and destiny quenchers. You will do the unusual this month because the Lord who saves shall grant you the enablement.
May your faith be renewed this month of September.
I love you all

One's value added to a relationship or organisation is that which sustains the relationship or one's sustainability in the organisation. May we at all times add value to our relationships and our places of endeavours.
Have a blessed day.

Text: Jeremiah 29:13-24
Topic: Seek the Lord!
I welcome us to the mid of August 2024.
I know, things are not easy. Life is becoming complex by the day. Life is becoming tougher by the day. Sometimes we wake up to feel that we may not pull any longer.
The challenges of life must have held you back. To some, the crisis of life are holding us captive that we are full of tears every minute. Yes, our tears might as thick as the drop of blood.
I write to encourage you to 'SEEK THE LORD WITH ALL YOUR HEART.' As you seek the Lord, you will surely find him. He might come to you in a manner you didnt expect him and at the time you needed him most. I assure you that he will definitely deliver you of your crisis.
Verse 14 assures us that 'We will find Him.' Crisis help us to seek the Lord.
Before the end of this month, 'The Lord shall deliver you of the crisis that so entangled you.
Wishing you a fresh oil as you seek the Lord with all your heart

Text: Mark 16:4
Topic: Look Up!

Happy new month my journey mates. As you have entered this new month August, may you live above your crisis in the name of Jesus.
May you celebrate new songs of praise to God. This new month shall come with new testimonies.
Friends, life is full of crisis. Life is full of challenges. You wake up every day to hear new devastating news and crisis. Yes, in the midst of all, I admonish us not to look at your crisis or troubles that stand in opposition to you but 'look up' (to Heaven) and you will discover that the Lord shall roll away that stone that block your sight or miracle.
Look up! this month shall be full of grace, strength, and oil to reach your goal. May you not faint but stand strong to experience an Open Heaven.
Go in the power of the Lord through the month of August as you conquer in Jesus' name.

Text: Luke 22:31, 32
Topic: It's not easy!

31 " Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift all of you as wheat.
32 But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.”

Simon Peter who was with Jesus and had relied on the strength and power of Jesus throughout was about to face another side of his life. Satan wanted to take advantage over Peter to destroy his destiny taking advantage of his weakness as a person. Jesus, stepped up to assure him his life support strength.

My fellow pilgrims, I know life is tough. I know Satan has risen against many. I know we are getting weaker on daily basis. I know so many times we feel as though to give up. I know we are running short of tears. I know many of us are been pressured to the point of giving up. I encouraged you as Jesus prayed for Simon Peter, that 'your best will soon be out from your crisis.' You will soon be a testimony. You will soon sing a new song. Don't give up. Jesus walks with you and soon you will come smiling.
May you be a testimony today.

'Heavenly Father, turn somebody's crisis to a testimony today in Jesus name.'
