The Hausa Christians Foundation (HACFO) is an indigenous Mission Ministry working among the Hausa People Group of Nigeria that has the mandate of God to lose the bands of wickedness, undo their heavy burdens, let the oppressed go free and
break every yoke the Hausas are suffering from. We are called by God to raise the foundation of many generations, become the repairers of the breach and restore the paths to dwell in of the Hausa land. (Isaiah 58:6-14). We are a Christ-centered Christian Mission Ministry that have become a voice for the emancipation of the Northern Christians especially the entire Hausa Christians Communities in Nigeria from all forms of religious or political harassments, marginalization and all manners of persecutions. We are out to advocate for equal rights and privileges both in the sphere of religion, politics and governance. We will continue to advocate for justice and actively resist all forms of abuse the Christian Communities have been subjected to simply for their faith in Christ Jesus. We will unite, encourage and motivate all the Northern Christians especially of the Hausa Decent to contend for their faith in Christ, pursue noble course and become more productive in their lives. The essence of the entire mandate of the Hausa Christians Foundation is to encourage, equip and protect the Hausa Christians from the attacks of the wolves of this world, while we advance toward reaching the unsaved Hausas with the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to get them reconciled back to God. We are anchored on the fact that God is a Triune Being; God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Jesus is the Son of God, He died for the whole world, God raised Him from the dead and He is coming back again in Glory to receive us to Himself. We certainly know and believe that God is our Loving Father, Jesus is the way, the truth and the life and the Holy Spirit is our Helper and Comforter. OUR VISION
To bring hope to our hopeless people, courage to the fearful, boldness to contend for our faith in Christ and rebuild the tenacity in the Hausa Christians in Nigeria to face the future without fear or doubt thereby raising as well as equipping men and women of the Hausa Christians for the work of the Ministry. In addition to reaching out to the Unreached Hausa People Group with the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. OUR PURPOSE
To liberate the oppressed Christians by especially becoming a voice for the emancipation of the Hausa Christians in Nigeria from all forms of marginalization and to equip them for the Master’s Work thereby creating an enabling environment for the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to reach the entire Hausa Land of Nigeria. OUR MISSION
Reaffirming our existence, our origin, and our identity; advocating for justice and religious freedom and to mobilize a productive workforce and resources for Missions in the Hausa Land so we equip and protect the Hausa Christians as well as reach those Hausas that are not saved with the love and Gospel of Jesus Christ. a) MISSIONS
Our Missions focus on uniting the Body of Christ in the Hausa Land, Bringing a powerful and lasting Revival of the Church in the Hausa Land, Perfecting the saints and winning more souls for Christ. We achieve this through Mission conferences, Mission outreaches, Mission Training and Missionary Services and Christian Literatures and Publications
b) EDUCATION AND EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMS
We believe in the power of education as a vital tool for the total development of humanity. We encourage our people to be properly educated, skillfully and economically empowered, and mentally liberated through our Schools Educational Programs and Outreaches, Empowerment Programs, Christian Religious Knowledge Support Programs, Enlightenment Programs and Research, History and Documentation. c) HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES DIVISION
In our desire to see our people live a healthy and prosperous life, we organize Free Medical Outreaches and Primary Health Care Services, Health Education and Sensitization Programs and Rescued Victims Rehabilitation Programs. d) ADVOCACY DIVISION
We see advocacy as a vital tool for restoring the dignity and freedom of our people. We speak and fight for those who cannot speak or fight for themselves. In our believe that all humans are created equal irrespective of tribe, gender or religion, we advocate for the upholding the sanctity of life, protection of fundamental human rights, religious freedom, girl child education and encourage peaceful coexistence and religious tolerance. e) MEDIA DIVISION
Through media, we reach a wider audience with the Gospel of Christ, effectively enlighten the world on our programs. Our media comprises of units like Information Technology, Audio-Visuals, Info-graphics, and Publishing of edifying Christian literatures.
