VBS 2026 at St Stephen's Anglican Church, Sabon Tasha
Talking to teens about Money Matters
1. I asked them questions. They were very active, followed the points and contributed when asked questions. They were at least 10 people who gave answers to different questions.
2. I used some of them (5 persons) to give examples/make illustrations. Examples like they had money and had to make decisions, etc
3. I gave a thousand naira to one person in particular to 'hold' - this was my main example for stewardship, planning, budgeting etc.
4. To explain income and skills/value, one particular boy who has tailoring skill was the focus - questions, examples and insights from his skill and practice.
