Today, we celebrate 7 Years of BB Information Platform 🎊

For 7 years, the platform has been a voice of truth, unity, and progress for The Boys’ Brigade.
From sharing news of BB activities and training opportunities. God has used this platform to keep us informed, connected, and inspired.

We thank God for His faithfulness.
We thank our Admins, Contributors, Readers, and all BB members who have made this platform a home for information with purpose.

As we celebrate, we recommit to the vision: “Advancing Christ’s Kingdom Among Boys through timely, accurate, and values-driven information.”

BOYS’ BRIGADE MEMORIAL DAY CELEBRATION

Boys’ Brigade Memorial Day is an international observance held every year on May 10, marking the passing of the founder, Sir William Alexander Smith.

On this Memorial Day, we remember a man whose vision continues to shape generations. We also honour all faithful Officers and Boys both within our Company and across the world who have gone before us. May their lives and service inspire us to remain Sure & Steadfast in faith, discipline, and service.

THE SIGNIFICANCE OF MAY 10
• It commemorates the passing of Sir William Alexander Smith in 1914
• It honours his vision of raising young people grounded in faith, discipline, and service
• It unites Boys’ Brigade members worldwide in a shared moment of remembrance

THE RELEVANCE OF THE CELEBRATION TODAY
Beyond remembering the founder, this day calls us to:
• Honour all departed Officers and Boys
• Reflect on the legacy and impact of the Brigade
• Renew our commitment to the BB Motto: “Sure & Steadfast”

As members of the BB worldwide, let us not only remember, but also live out the values handed down to us. As we reflect on those who have gone before, may we continue the mission with dedication, integrity, and faithfulness.
