We shared our story with our friends/family yesterday and it was a humbling experience.
I may not share details here but i just want to encourage someone this evening.
I understand how cringe my generation is about a ‘grass to grace’ story but i am unashamed to share it.

I will boldly let my life be an epistle that God is the lifter of men.
That the Lord honors His word.
From the days of flying bikes and the days of not conveniently paying for a one bedroom to owning a house in the heart of the city.
I remember how we were joyful through those phases and excitedly serving.
It wasn’t because of what he gives. We were after His heart. Still passionate about Him more than before. We are happy that He’s lifting us but that alone is not the reward of following Him. He is enough 🤍.
We love Him beyond the rewards. The benefits are good but HE is all that matters.
If Jesus can bless us, He can do to everyone.

Hold on my friend, He is in the neighborhood.

Having our father in the Lord come dedicate our home is a huge honor 🥹.
A father in every sense 🙇🏽‍♀️🙏🏾.

The secular songs are being played in every corner. They did it in a way you can't escape from hearing it.
It is intentional.
Jokes apart, sometimes I just subconsciously sing some of the catchy ones that registered in my subconsciousness.

This is the purpose of this post: If you are music minister and you are not radical about spreading your songs, you are wrong. PERIOD!!!

And if you are the type that condemns music ministers that radically promoting their songs all in the name of religious spirituality, you are wrong.

This is what I mean: I hear people say "when the Holy Ghost breathe on your song, it will go viral. Until then, stop stressing yourself promoting your songs ".

WHO TOLD YOU THE PROOF THAT THE HOLY GHOST HAS BREATHE ON A SONG "IS THE VIRALITY OF THE SONG "?

MY FELLOW MUSIC MINISTERS, PLEASE UNAPOLOGETICALLY PROMOTE YOUR SONGS.

LET OUR SONGS TOO REGISTER IN THE SUBCONSCIOUSNESS OF THE PEOPLE.

Give Up Social Media And Read, Chimamanda Urges Youths

Writer, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, has suggested that young people give up social media for about two weeks or more to grow the habit of reading as it is the only way to counter the spree of book banning in the United States of America.

She made this suggestion when she received the W.E.B Du Bois Medal from Harvard University on Thursday.

“The most meaningful thing for me as a writer is to know that I can create something that means something to other people. And so what moves me the most is to hear from people who have read me and who say, your work made me feel seen, your work made me think differently, your work made me feel that I was not alone.

"For the young people who are here, if you care about anything, please care about reading, reading is so important, reading is magical, books are magical. And I really think that one of the best ways to counter what seems to me to be a really ugly tsunami of book bannings going around in this country is to read. The only way that we can answer to censorship of books is to read books," she said.

On giving up social media for books, Adichie said, “And so for you young people, I just want to make a very small suggestion, how about you give up social media for you know, two weeks, three weeks, a month, and read, read, read.”

I cannot over-flog the need to document your ministry teachings, or programs...

Some of you ministers have been doing ministry with no track record at all. I mean, only God knows what you are doing for him.

Even Dr. Abel Damina knows very well the importance of documentation of every sermon or teaching. But you? Claiming humility up and down. Bro. Gbile taught me those days in one of his teachings the need to preserve your messages, in audio and written formats.

Some of you the reason why you don't have any recording of your sermon is because you are waiting to be perfect, you are waiting to be excellent before you start doing that. How else do you define foolishness?

Right from the day I had sense enough to start recording my messages on phone, I didn't hesitate. I recorded them in AMR format and listen to them and send them to others. I recorded hundreds of them. Even though I didn't get the wisdom to store them on Google drive then... I am glad that I did take steps to preserve those gems.

Young ministers, insist on getting your messages recorded, they don't need to be aa clear as Koinonia sermon for now, your aim is to ensure they are not lost, even if it is with phones, record them. One day, you'll be glad you did.

After you get this mindset, begin to invest in gadgets like cameras, laptops and good phones... You must not start with digital cameras if you don't have money for that... Start with a good phone and a laptop.

Young man, preserve your history. Keep it for impact and for memories, yours and your children.

No one will do that for you, you are the one to ensure it is done.
