I have not asked that you do anything for me before.this time i feel led to ask for this.

*1cor* 3:5-17

*Aim* : To encourage us to be faithful in discharging or carrying out our God given Assignment.
What ever we found ourselves doing for God, we should do it with all sincerity.
Introduction: As conventional worker, one of the things that makes a worker to be serious is in knowledge of the reward or consequences that follow our performance.
Some workers only tend to be active because they have a hash boss, while some is because there is an instant reward that follows their performance. All these is dependant of how we know, reverence, or fear who we are working for.

1. *Who are you* : knowing who you are a very paramount as it help you in knowing your purpose. As believers, we should know that we are ministers of God with the sole aim of showcasing Jesus and medium through whom people come to believe and accept Jesus Christ. Vs 5.
Knowing who you are helps you in understanding your calling and assignment ( what is expected of you) Vs.5&9.

2. *Know your assignment:* there is no individual in the Christiandom without a purpose (assignment). As it is from the beginning, worshiping and advancing God kingdom is our sole assignment. The great Commission is the call and assignment of every child of God.
The great Commission have various ways of participation, but we will just glance through 2 aspect in our reading.
I. *Planters* : in practical, planting a seed entailed many activities, these include getting a land, evaluating the soil to know the choice of seed to plant, clearing and toiling the ground and planting.

II. *Watering*: those that have done dry season farming or gardening will understand this step very well. SO many people think this step more easier but if you will be faithful, non of the stages or step is easy.
This step have to do with nurturing in its entirety. Without nurturing, there will be no growth and produce.

*Topic* . *Understanding and working out your purpose.*

*Introduction* the purpose of a person's life is far beyond one's own personal fulfillment, your peace of mind, or even your happiness. It is far beyond our family, career, dreams and ambitions.

What is your (my) purpose. The search for purpose has puzzled humanity for long and still.... That is because we often focus at the wrong thing to look into, by asking self centred questions like;
*What do I want to be.
*What should I do with my life.
*What are my goals, dreams and ambitions for my future....
All these self centred questions will never reveal our life's purpose but in Christ alone for "it is God who direct the lives of His creatures, everyone's life is in His power".

For one to understand his/her purpose and reason for existence, you must begin with God, for you (we) born by His purpose and for His purpose.
We didn't create ourselves, for that, only the creator (inventor) or user manual (God's word, i.e Bible) can tell the purpose of the creation (the invented).
In these light we be looking at the calling and purpose of Jeremiah as a paradigm for our lives as God own creation with a purpose.

1. The fore- knowledge of Jeremiah birth, (our birth).
God forms us in the womb: God prescribed every single detail of our being. Your (our) birth is not an accidental occurrence. Your (our) parents may not have planned you, but God did. Our birth ( existence) is not a surprise to Him, in fact , he expected it.

Long before you (we) were conceived by our parents, you (we) were already conceived in the mind of God. He thought of you (us) first.
It is not fate, nor chance, not luck, not coincidence that you (we) are breathing at this very moment. You are alive because God wanted (chose) to create you ( us).

No child is birth without God given purpose, assignment in his/her life.
Every man is birthed for a reason, and our life is not without profound meaning, which can be discovered only when we make God the

Indeed you will go forth from him
With your hands on your head;
For the Lord has rejected your trusted allies,
And you will not prosper by them.

Who are your trusted allies?
Are you prospering (helped) where you are?

The company you keep is the reflection of you in the nearest future. As Paul will say-do not be deceived, bad company corrupt good habit.
What you choose to identify yourself with in a way shows the state of your mind. A heart for God will hunger and taste towards kingdom business.
The advancement of your life solidly depends on your state of mind which is shaped by the company around you. We are product of our thoughts and imagination which is influenced by what we see and hear.
If you are not prospering (helped) check on whose side are you really standing. Who is your influencer.

May we and our allies not be rejected by God. And may the Lord help us to keep company that will bring growth to us both intellectually and spiritually.

Success might have multiple keys or ways to achieve it, but one certain key to failure is to try to please everyone.
Being controlled by the opinions of others is a guaranteed way to miss God's purpose for your (our) life.

This month will be month of supernatural happiness.

It will be a month of fulfilment.
It will be a month of speed.

This month shall be fruitful. Both at work, in our business, in our academic.

Evangelical Revival Movement hope's to hold a one week crusade outreach at Isanlu Essa
Okoloke ward of Yagba West local government area of Kogi state which is a Hausa predominant area. With the help and leadership of the Holy Spirit, *we hope to hold the event during Esther period* .
To make this crusade, a success, here is the
breakdown of what will be needed.

*Transportation from Kaduna to Egbe, Kogi state
*Musical Instrument to be used
*Feeding.

May the good lord open doors to support this mission. Amen
