When I started ministry, people thought I didn't have a job or I lacked options.

People look at a minister and assume he has nothing doing because they see a man who is not wearing a suit every morning to an office.

Ministry is Work! But not a job in the secular sense. But a job in every real sense. It demands your time, energy, focus and consistency.

The preparation that goes into building a ministry, maintaining a ministry and sustaining a vision is not something that happens in between free time. It is the work itself.

The problem is that people only recognise work when it looks like what they are familiar with.

You carry people.
You spend time.
You counsel people.
You prepare your mind.
You have sleepless nights.
You eat less.
You plan and draw budget.

Tell me which part of that sounds like a man who has nothing doing. Ministry is not unemployment!

A LETTER TO MY SONS

My sons,

There is a danger in ministry that I want you to discern early: the danger of reproducing what God is doing in another man without receiving the divine allocation that made it possible for him to carry it.

Many men have shipwrecked their assignment because they became fascinated with another man's expression. They saw the manifestation but did not discern the mystery behind the manifestation.

They saw the public dimension of the ministry but knew nothing about the private dealings of God that produced the man. So they copied the visible while ignoring the invisible.

My sons, do not build your ministry from another man's shadow. There is something God has written concerning you that cannot be discovered through imitation.

Paul says:

«“Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us…”
— Romans 12:6»

The Scripture does not Just say that gifts differ.
It says they differ according to grace. That means there is a divine proportion attached to every calling.

There is a measure of grace. There is a measure of faith. There is a measure of burden. There is a measure of authority. There is a measure of revelation.

There is a measure of governmental responsibility.
Grace is heaven's provision for the ex*****on of His divine intention.

When God gives an assignment, He does not Just give Men responsibilities; He gives Men the grace necessary to execute that responsibility.

Therefore, do not volunteer for what God has not commissioned you to carry. There are burdens that look spiritual but are not your burden. There are battles that are legitimate but are not your battle.

There are territories that need conquest but are not your territory. There are people who need help but are not your assignment to carry. There are doors that are genuinely open but were not opened for you. And there are things that God may permit another man to do that He will deliberately forbid you from doing.

This is the mystery of divine measure.
Paul said: «“But we will not boast of things without our measure…” 2 Corinthians 10:13»

Notice the language: “Our measure.” There is a measure that belongs to a man. There is a jurisdiction attached to an assignment. There is a boundary around every commission.

There is what heaven has committed to your stewardship. Therefore, maturity in ministry is not simply knowing what you can do. Maturity is knowing what God has authorized you to do.

A man can have the ability to do many things and still have the grace to do only a few. And this is where many ministers become casualties..

My sons, hear me: You are not called to do everything you are capable of doing. You are called to do what heaven has written concerning you. Jesus Himself lived under this government.

He said: “My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.” John 4:34

He did not come on Earth Just to do good things.
He came to finish an assigned work. This is the difference between a good man and a commissioned man.

A good man is always concerned about Things That needs to be done. A commissioned man is always concerned about things he has been sent to do.

Jesus could have responded to every human need around Him, but He remained governed by the Father's will. The One who had unlimited power still lived within the boundaries of His assignment.

My sons, there are things you must learn to refuse, Not because they are sinful.Not because they are evil.
Not because they are beneath you. But because they are outside your assignment.

There is a holy “no” that protects a man's “yes.”

There are things you must be willing to say: “This is good, but it is not mine.” “This is necessary, but God has not assigned it to me.” “This is a legitimate burden, but it is not my burden.” Because if you say yes to every burden, eventually you will not have enough strength to carry the burden God actually gave you.

Some of you are exhausted because you have violated your measure. You have allowed the expectations of men to become the government of your life. You are carrying people God never told you to carry. You are fighting battles God never commissioned you to fight.
You are answering voices God never authorized to direct you. You are entering doors because men are calling you, when God has not Called you. And then you wonder why there is no oil upon the assignment.

There is no grace for what God did not give you. You may have passion for it. You may have the intelligence for it. You may even have resources for it.

But your natural capacity cannot substitute for His grace.

My son, never let the applause of men seduce you out of the government of God. The crowd may celebrate you for doing something God never told you to do. People may call you powerful because you are busy.
People may call you successful because you are visible. People may celebrate your expansion. But God will Keep asking: “Who sent you?”

Because it is possible to build something impressive that God never commissioned. It is possible to become successful in an assignment that was never yours. It is possible to have a crowd and lose your calling. It is possible to gain influence and lose your consecration.

It is possible to become celebrated on earth and be found unfaithful in heaven.

My sons, I would rather see you obscure in the will of God than celebrated outside of it. I would rather see you carry a small burden with Gods Approval and grace than carry a massive burden Moved by Your own ambition. I would rather see you build what God has authorized than build what men will applaud.

Because in the economy of God, faithfulness is greater than visibility. Do not envy another man's grace.
You do not know the price attached to what you are admiring. And do not despise your own measure because another man's measure appears greater.

The eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of thee.” The Body is not built by sameness. It is built by diversity under one Head. You do not need to become another man's expression. You need to become a faithful expression of the Christ that God has ordained you to reveal within your measure.

What is legitimate for another man can become a hindrance in your hands.

Therefore, my sons: Guard the voice of God. For what God has called you to do, He has already measured grace for. And what He has not given you grace to do, leave it at the altar. Do not touch it because men are touching it. Do not pursue it because it is working for another man. Do not do it because you are afraid of being left behind. You cannot be behind when you are walking in the will of God.

Stay with your assignment. Stay under government.
Stay within your measure. Stay faithful to your commission. And finish the course that GOD wrote concerning you.

Christian ladies marrying Muslims is completely prohibited and the bible warns against a believer marrying an unbeliever but many Christian ladies are not hearing, they're longer throats that have led them to the land of no return and many of those Christian ladies are suffering in the hands of those Muslims whom they have married as husbands, "PLEASE CHURCH PASTOR WAKE UP WITH SERIOUS REVIVAL AND HELP THOSE LADIES, LONGER THROATS IS DESTROYING OUR BEAUTIFUL SISTERS IN CHRIST" Churches should wake up from sound biblical teachings and discipleship that will help our youths.

Now, I have told you the danger of marrying an unbeliever most especially a Muslim brother as a female Christian lady. Those Muslims, most especially those from northern Nigeria their kind of Islam, I don't know where they got it, sometimes the southern Muslims are not pan-Islamist like the northern Muslims, so I have seen southern Muslims marrying Christian ladies and having successful marriage u unlike those northern Muslims, they will use hadiths and k*ll you in marriage.

As a Christian lady or not born again Christian, consider those things before accepting to marry any Muslim brother who is asking you to marry him, don't allow love and sweet words to cover your eyes from the reality but open your eyes and mind to know the reality:

1: Can you bear polygamy: Many Christians have the knowledge that in Christianity, men are recommended to marry one wife, which is not like that in Islam, where they are allowed to marry 4 wives and they can divorce overnight and add another wife, make sure you can bear this so you can be disappointed tomorrow.

2: Can you allow your children to practice Islam: Yes, automatically his children are Muslims, maybe you decided not to be a Muslim, then you dare not take ur children to the church, so avoid a marriage crisis by leaving your child, can you bear this?

3: Can you bear the slavery: Women in Islam and in marriage are completely slaves, they don't have anything outside submission for s*x, and infact ur Aljana is under ur husband's feet, unlike in Christianity, where both husband and wife are equal before God God and you are both children of God.

4: Islam is all about works and laws: Can you be able to keep these laws, all the five pillars of Islam, how can you learn Arabic before learning the Quran then know how to be a true Muslim? You may convert to Islam as a Christian lady to marry a Muslim brother, and conversion to Islam is far beyond just wearing Hijabs, don't fall into traps by just putting on Hijabs but try to know those things before making a wrong decision.

5 Can you bear ur muslim husband address your parents as "Arna" and "Kafirai" and divide you from your parents and Christian relatives: Many Christians ladies have experience this when they marry Muslims, their husbands sill address her people as Kafirai and Arna, they have also disassociated with their family members just because he marry a Muslims, can you bear this when it happens in marrying a Muslim?

The Bible warns Christians against marrying non-believers to prevent spiritual division:

New Testament Warnings:
6:14-15: Tells believers not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers. It asks how light can mix with darkness or Christ with darkness.
7:39: States that a wife is bound to her husband as long as he lives, but she is free to marry anyone she wishes, "only in the Lord" meaning another believer.
15:33: Warns that bad company ruins good habits, highlighting the influence a non-believing spouse can have on a person's walk with God.

Old Testament Examples and Warnings:
7:3-4: Commanded the Israelites not to intermarry with neighboring nations. The warning was that the non-believing spouse would turn their children and hearts away from God.
11:4: Shows the real-life danger through King Solomon. His foreign wives turned his heart away from following God in his old age.
13:26: Points out that foreign wives led even King Solomon into sin, using him as a negative example of what happens through mixed marriages.
