Here’s a snippet from the powerful message by our guest speaker, Pastor Genesis Karami on the first day:
“Keeping Your Lamps Burning and Staying Dressed for Action.”
The message of keeping our lamps burning is a message for disciples of Jesus—a call to remain faithful, watchful, and ready.
A few key reminders from the message:
• Do not worry. Jesus assures His disciples that the Father knows their needs and will provide for them.
• Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. Our focus must be shifted from earthly worries to eternal glory.
• Store up your treasures in heaven. What takes your time? Where are you investing your life?
• Stay ready. Keeping your lamp burning means living with the appearance, and reality, of readiness.
• And the big question: How prepared are you?
As disciples, we are not called merely to have a lamp, we are called to keep it burning. 🔥
