Recap of Today's service
Theme: The Ways of the Lord
Speaker: Rev Mary Dan paul
The message focused on the difference between the ways of God and the acts of God. Scripture says, “He made known His ways unto Moses, His acts unto the children of Israel” — Psalm:7.
The children of Israel experienced the acts of God. They saw miracles like the parting of the Red Sea, manna from heaven, and water from the rock.
On the other hand, Moses knew the ways of God. He walked in intimacy with God, sought His presence, and understood His nature and principles. Because of this, Moses had stability, revelation, and strong faith even in difficult situations.
Pst Mary ,emphasized that God’s ways are not hidden from believers. There is a path every believer must follow to access deeper knowledge of God, and that path includes seeking God intentionally through prayer and the Word. Matthew 6:33 teaches us to seek first the kingdom of God, and James 4:8 says we should draw near to God.
Understanding the ways of God brings spiritual growth and maturity. It moves a believer from being a “milk” Christian to one who can handle strong spiritual truth (Hebrews 5:12–14). The kingdom of God is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit,Roms 14:17.
The message concluded that God reveals Himself to those who seek Him. Believers are called not only to experience His acts but to grow in His ways. Knowing His ways leads to transformation, stability, and deeper relationship with God.
