Hello, Shepherd's Family!!

Today was truly a grace-filled and inspiring moment in our formation journey as we welcomed the National Director of the Pontifical Mission Societies (PMS) in Nigeria, Rev. Fr. Solomon Patrick Zaku, alongside his esteemed team, to our lovely home.

For the sake of enlightenment, the Pontifical Mission Societies embody a unique charismatic, episcopal, and pontifical nature; they are a global network of prayer and charity belonging to the Pope, the College of Bishops, and the entire People of God, serving as the principal means for awakening missionary responsibility among the baptized and supporting young, poor, or persecuted mission Churches until they can become self-sustaining in their evangelizing mission.

During his enriching lecture, Fr. Solomon Patrick Zaku powerfully elaborated on the foundational principles of the PMS; highlighting its identity as the Church's official instrument for fostering a universal missionary spirit and the practical as well as a spiritual significance of establishing Mission Clubs within our seminary walls.

The hallmark of the day was an interactive session that allowed us to engage deeply with the nature and operation of this pontifical structure.

May Christ the Good Shepherd continue to bless and strengthen the missionary organisations in the Church. Amen.
