It's A Battle Of Altars. Pt1

Goliath was not just a warrior, he was a priest with a functional altar. He goes to battle not just with his weapons but with his gods. How did I know? "...And the Philistine (Goliath) cursed David in the name of his gods." (1 Sam.17:43)
Little wonder, he was a warrior and a champion from his youth (vs4,33). He had a divine backing and back up.

When you engage in a fight with Goliath, you're simply fighting against his gods. Of course, mortals are just a piece of bread to spirits.

Saul, himself came to the battle with just his weapons and many years of war experience; their was no divine backing.
As a result He (Saul) and the entire Israeli were subjected to 40 days in bo***ge and fear, though they were Israelites (God's own people).

God is not powerless, it's your altar that is powerless.

An occultic man will sleep in a graveyard for 3 nights to acquire power while you, a believer will sleep all through the night and you're in the Same business line with this occultic man.

And you're wondering why you only make sakes only when he is done selling his own? He just succeeded in padlocking your business in the spirit realm such that no customer will come to your shop as long as he has goods in his warehouse.

It's not about quoting scriptures and confessing your identity in Christ; it's about building a functional altar and keep burning incense of prayers on it daily.

There are cases of some people, even believers who died or were paralyzed few days after they were promoted in their offices.

How can you that can't study the Bible for 10 mins without dozing off be fighting for a position against a man who sacrifices a baby every month?

And you will be crying "God, are you no longer powerful?"
It's not God that's powerless but your altar.
It is our altars that authorizes God to act on our behalf.

Our weak altars most a times makes God to appear weak, but He is not; He is ever powerful. The limit of God in our lives is our altars.

God can't move beyond our prayer life.

A time comes when you must stand alone.
Truth is in measures and depth differs. One right man is enough in the sight of God.

Sometimes a truth may not lie well with you simply because you have been raised with that "lie" for a long time.

A time comes when "All men will forsake you". Don't worry yourself. It's because of their measure of understanding.

Depth are in measures...
Faith is in measures...
Understanding is in measures...

We have the same Jesus Christ but we know him in different measures and depth. We don't judge depth by AGE and "who first repent". That's not the accurate ruler for measuring depth.

When Apostle Paul was converted it was very difficult for the Apostles to accept him. But not until Barnabas approved him. And over time it was clear enough that Paul was a man of weight and depth.....

Don't expect people to believe everything you say so easily. They may shout "Yes sir" but deep down they understand nothing.

When Jesus began to unravel deep things about himself. The many crowded disciples reduced in number.

The weight of truth can not be beared by numbers. Every single day all I strive for is a new measure of truth and depth in understanding the secrets of the kingdom.

I am a very young man but mercy found me as a boy. I started my journey with God very early (Age is an advantage to the wise).

With my little understanding so far, I always feel there is more that I don't know. I always feel empty (And this feeling drives me into searching him the more). And the more I search it looks like I don't know anything yet. Oh who can satisfy this hungry soul of mine?

2 Timothy 4:16 (KJV) At my first answer NO MAN STOOD WITH ME, BUT ALL MEN FORSOOK ME: I pray God that it may not be laid to their charge.

Holiness seperates you from the WORLD but truth seperates you from the CROWD
By all means fall in love with the scriptures!

Again, this month our prophetic focus is MY HELPER HAS COME. It will be evident by the end of this month that your helper has truly come. Church Gist. Every area of our lives where we appear helpless, the helper will come to our aid. No one will miss the ministry of the Helper this month.

We are looking at UNVEILING THE HIDDEN MINISTRIES OF THE HOLY SPIRIT Part 2. We had part 1 last Wednesday. We are having Part 2 today. The Holy Spirit is a multifaceted personality with diversities of operations and differences of administration all by the same Spirit. 1 Corinthians 12:6-7. It is a multi-faceted personality. Church Gist. All of His operations and gifts are for our profiting. Everything about the Holy Spirit is to make us live a profitable life here on earth and make it to heaven. It is not just about speaking in tongues, it is about manifestation of values. Profitable living.

1 Corinthians 12:31. We have an open cheque. Make demands for any of His diversities of operations that you are interested in, that you truly crave for or desire. It will add profit to your life. Covet earnestly the best gifts.
