The cross was there… but they didn’t make it.

Leaders. Warriors. Preachers.
Anointed, called, even used by God.
But they stopped obeying.
They let pride in. Or lust. Or the love of position.
Some simply grew tired of denying themselves.

And slowly… they drifted.
Until the cross was no longer near — but distant.
Unreachable.
And the enemy surrounded them.

This image is not just symbolic — it’s a warning.
I’ve seen it in real life.
Men who started strong but didn’t finish well.
Not because God changed… but because they did.

Young men, listen.
Don’t chase platforms, titles or applause.
Chase the King.
Seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness.
Take up your cross daily. Deny yourself.
And stay the course — no matter the cost.

Hell is patient. But so is Heaven.

Finish well.

WE TRUST IN THE NAME OF THE LORD

"Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we will trust in the name of the Lord our God." — Psalm 20:7

In our world that values financial power and human achievements, this scripture reminds us that the only path to certain victory and eternal hope lies in God alone. While others may rely on earthly resources or human systems, we are called to place our trust in something far greater— the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

The name of the Lord in this verse signifies God’s character, power, and promises. Trusting in His name means relying on His unchanging nature and His faithfulness to fulfill all He has promised.

When we say we trust in God, it means:
1. Relying on His Strength: God is all-powerful, and His might is unmatched.
2. Believing in His Faithfulness: If He promises, He fulfills. He has never failed.
3. Acknowledging His Sovereignty: God reigns over all, and everything obeys and honors Him.

By trusting in His name, we acknowledge that He is our ultimate provider, protector, and leader. Trusting God brings boundless peace and confidence. When we depend on Him, we gain strength, wisdom, and guidance that no person or thing on earth can offer.

So, when you face life’s challenges, ask yourself: Where is my trust? Allow the message of Psalm 20:7 to inspire you and give you the courage to place your hope in the unfailing name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Prayer: Lord, I put my trust in You. Becaus you are faithful and unfailing. Amen.

How to Not Grieve the Holy Spirit

🔹Know the Word of God

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth.
Psalm 119:11 says, "Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I may not sin against You."
If you want to avoid grieving Him, hide God's Word in your heart.

🔹Check Your Heart Against Offense

Guard your heart regularly. Offense and bitterness can build up, creating a hardness in your spirit.
Regularly examine your heart to ensure purity, especially towards your brothers and sisters.

🔹Season Your Speech With Truth and Grace

Ensure your words are full of both truth and grace.
Some speak harsh truths without grace, while others speak sweet words without truth. Both grieve the Holy Spirit.
Your words should always be wholesome and honest, without deceit or exaggeration.

🔹Be Prompt to Obey

When the Holy Spirit prompts you, obey quickly.
Abraham acted promptly when God asked him to sacrifice Isaac (Gen 22:3).
When you delay obedience, you risk missing the Spirit's timing.

🔹Pray With the Holy Spirit

The more you pray with the Holy Spirit, the more you will get to know Him.
Make it a habit to fellowship with Him and to ask Him to guide your prayer life.

What Happens When You Pray

1. Prayer releases God’s angels

Throughout the Bible, we see that angels bring assistance, protection, spiritual aid in battles, and messages when we pray to God (Dan 9:20-21; Ps 91:11-12; Dan 10-12-13; Lk 1:11-13). We don’t pray to angels; as an answer to our prayers, God dispatches them. They are attracted to prayer and activated through it.

2. Prayer invites God

When we pray, we are inviting God’s presence. It doesn’t mean that he suddenly becomes closer to us but rather we become more aware of His nearness and His love for us.

3. Prayer repels the enemy

Through prayer, we resist the devil causing him to flee. When we are positioned under God’s protection, in the secret place, it makes it difficult for the enemy to pe*****te through to us (Ps 91:1).

If a visitor comes to church looking like they need help or are going through a hard time, we should welcome them with love, care, and kindness. It's important for us to remember that people often come to church because they're searching for guidance and support. As believers, we should embrace them and provide a safe space for them to find the answers they're looking for.

Unfortunately, sometimes church members might unintentionally make people feel unwelcome, but that's not what God wants. Our role as a faith community is to accept everyone, especially those who feel lost or broken, just as Jesus did during His ministry on earth. God wants sinners to come to Him and find forgiveness, love, and transformation. By welcoming everyone with open arms, we can create a place where people can experience healing and grow in their faith.

the supernatural is not reserved for only a few, but is for all. These signs shall follow them that believe. As long as you are a believer, you are expected to operate in the supernatural. It is for all. Individuals have been used by God to bring their dead back to life and to do wonders in the name of our God.
Romans 8:19
