ARE YOU WORKING FOR GOD OR WALKING WITH GOD ??
Working with God is service and
service can be in diverse ways.
It could be singing in the church choir
or even preaching of the gospel. Many Christians work for God alone,you see them zealous in the work of God but yet there's something missing which is the “Walk with God".
Let me share a story of myself a little. Years back I didn't understand all this and I was guilty of working for God alone,but all glory to God as He opened up my eyes to understand and learn. Thanks to Jesus 😊
So back to the story,I was very committed in church activities. It got to a point where I was in church every single day. I was so fervent in God's work that my nickname was Mummy G.O 😂
I was in intercessory unit,I was in the church band and also i attend youth fellowship. I was in church almost everyday. But all that didn't make me better Christian,I only prayed in church but at home am very far from God. My spiritual life with Jesus was so empty infact it was zero 0%.
This continued until one faithful day I heard a voice that spoke to me saying “You can pray for 10 hours in church and not be saved, you can sing and power come down and still i don't know u” this words dropped in my heart like bomb kaii 🔥
For days I was restless and I received peace after asking God for mercy.
He started teaching me how to walk with Him and my life changed for good. I can boldly say am saved ☺
Please let's all ensure we are saved not assume we are saved. Don't joke with you eternal destination.
