Religion is comfortable with distance.
It prefers clean seats, controlled spaces, and people who already know how to behave.
Jesus never did.
Code991 exists because there are places in Sabo where religion stopped showing up but pain didn’t.
Street corners where addiction has names.
Rooms where hope is borrowed, not owned.
Youth who know the price of survival but not the sound of mercy.
Religion avoided these places because they are messy.
Jesus walks straight into them.
BadBoys Assembly is not trying to build another safe religious circle.
We are taking Jesus to the places He would have gone if He walked College Road today:
Where drugs are not a headline but a lifestyle
Where “bad boys” are not criminals, but wounded sons
Where faith is distrusted because religion failed
Jesus was accused of being in the wrong places with the wrong people.
That accusation is our badge.
We don’t ask people to clean up before they meet Him.
We bring Him into the chaos because that’s where He does His best work.
Religion says, “Come to us.”
Jesus says, “I will come to you.”
This is why we show up in Sabo.
This is why we speak the language of the streets.
This is why we sit, listen, walk, and stay.
Code991 is our way of saying:
No place is too dark. No life is too far. No story is disqualified.
We are not invading Sabo.
We are standing in it with Jesus.
And where religion was afraid to go,
grace is now walking boldly.
