Eleos Ministries International aka Chapel of Mercy began in 1989 when it was then known as Plateau Christian Centre. It was formally commissioned in 1991 by Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye and then renamed Chapel of Mercy. From our very humble beginning twenty (25) years ago, the Ministry has now grown and expanded with branches in Federal Lowcost Housing Estate, Kuru, Zarmaganda, Mista Ali, Lamingo, Kangan ( all in the City of Jos), Jalingo, Port Harcourt, Lagos and New Bedford, USA. We are sending out Missionaries and Evangelists to Mission Fields. Thousands of people have been baptized and many have surrendered their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ. We are also actively engaged in providing Social Services through our Outreach and Community Mobilization through our Medical Outreach and the Eleos Community Computer Institute.
Our ultimate goal is the glory to God, the advancement of His Kingdom, the promotion of education and the relief of poverty. Our vision is people transformed and empowered by God’s Word, Grace and Mercy by which we are sustained and made victorious (Heb.4:16). We have a special mandate and commission to reach and, by the power of the Spirit of God, take over families, neighbourhoods and cities across the world and transform them into places that fulfill the creative intention of God in Christ. It is our sacred duty to enlist the full armour of God through prayer, fasting, evangelism, purposeful leadership and our powerful spirit filled fellowships in which believers are anointed by God to take over their communities for Christ. It is our joy, duty, honor and privilege to worship and serve our Lord Jesus, and to surrender ourselves in humility and obedience to the authority of His Word.
