DO NOT BE WEARY

SCRIPTURE: And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
Galatians 6:9.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Many people become weary when their labour is not valued or appreciated.

Service is an established covenant pathway to authority in life and destiny. Service is key to the unction. Service attracts the anointing and power of God.
Psalm 89:20 says:
I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him:
David was anointed into authority and power at the frequency of service.

However, there are many temptations that hinder effective service to God.
One of these temptations is:
The temptation of weariness in service
This temptation usually happens when people are left to do all the work alone, often with little or no encouragement. This temptation can also come as a result of delayed expectations.
Galatians 6:9 says:
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

Beloved, do not be tired of doing the right thing. Maybe, you are getting tired because no one notices you or appreciate what you are doing, and you say, “I have been doing this work and nobody cares. Nobody appreciates or values what I do. I am tired”. Do not be weary, and do not give up.

Many people become weary when their labour is not valued or appreciated. Or they do not see the kind of result they expect as they serve God and so they get discouraged. Their expected outcome in serving God seems not to manifest.

Sometime ago, there was a young man who gave a testimony in church. He said, one day, his mother told him, “What has your going to church done for you? What is your profit for always being in church?”

Can you imagine this kind of mother? What does she expect her son to do? To be smoking, drinking and womanising? His own mother tried to discourage him from serving God but he refused to.

TESTIMONIES - BOOSTERS OF FAITH

SCRIPTURE: And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren. For with God nothing shall be impossible.
Luke 1:36-37.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Testimonies are boosters of faith.

Testimonies fertilize and provoke belief.
It has been established that testimonies are boosters of faith. Testimonies fertilize and provoke belief.

For example, it was a testimony that settled the mind of Mary when she was told by an angel that as a virgin, she would bring forth a child. Initially, she doubted God’s Word and said, “How shall this be?” Then the angel said,
And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren. For with God nothing shall be impossible.
Luke 1:36-37.

It was a testimony that settled Mary’s confusion.
When David wanted to confront Goliath, Saul told him, “You are not able to confront this man. This is a man of war from his youth. You are just a little boy”. Then a testimony from the mouth of David settled Saul’s unbelief.

1 Samuel 17:32, 34-36 showed us how David gave the testimony of how he killed a bear and a lion when he was taking care of his father’s sheep. And David concluded that Goliath would also be killed like the lion and the bear.

When Saul heard this testimony, he was amazed and seemed to have said, “Ah! You mean you have killed a lion before? Go!” David said, “The God who delivered me from the lion and the bear, He will deliver me from this uncircumcised philistine”.

Beloved, I decree that God will give you a testimony that will pull down every Goliath around your life! God will give you a testimony that will change your story and the story of everyone around you, in Jesus’ Name.

REMEMBER THIS: Testimonies are boosters of faith.

CONVICTION – A PATHWAY TO FAITH

Click to WATCH today's

SCRIPTURE: For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:10

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Revelation must be translated into conviction for faith to happen.

In Christianity, faith is a critical subject. For a Christian to live a successful Christian life, faith must be in place. Faith is one subject that must not be overlooked if a Christian must live a successful and glorious life on earth. For example, all the men of impact in Scriptures were men of faith (Hebrews 11:2).

Therefore, it is very important to pay attention to our faith if we must have a solid destiny both in this world and in the world to come.

Now, how is faith developed?

Faith is developed by the establishment of conviction.
Revelation must be translated into conviction for faith to happen.

Romans 10:10 says:
For with the heart man believeth…

The Word of God that you read is useless until it establishes a belief in you. So, if you get a revelation from the Word of God, and you are excited about it, it must produce a conviction in you for it to translate into faith.

Your convictions make you take steps that may make people to be afraid for you whereas you are not afraid for yourself.

For example, people may be looking for what to eat but your revelation and conviction from scriptures showed you that it is not what enters your hand that determines your welfare but what leaves you in the direction of God. So, on the basis of that rugged insight and brutal conviction, despite the fact that there is shortage, you are releasing towards God’s direction. This confirms the existence of faith.

Beloved, until your faith is backed up with relevant action, it is a waste of confession.

REMEMBER THIS: Revelation must be translated into conviction for faith to happen.

Spirituality – A Pathway To Destiny

TOPIC:
Spirituality – A Pathway To Destiny

SCRIPTURE:
Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.
Psalms 55:17

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Progress with God is progress in life. Every step towards God in life equals a thousand steps towards destiny.

It has been established that solid spirituality is a major facilitator of destiny. Men of solid destinies are also men of solid spirituality. And men of shallow destinies are men of shallow spirituality. So, your spirituality births your destiny.

I will like you to take note of two key thoughts on spirituality.

a. Spirituality is the bedrock of destiny.
If your spirituality is solid, your destiny cannot be shallow. Solid spirituality must translate to solidity of destiny.
2 Chronicles 26:5 makes us to understand that as long as Uzziah sought the Lord, God made him to prosper.

Jotham became mighty because he prepared his ways before the Lord.

2 Chronicles 27:6 says,
So Jotham became mighty, because he prepared his ways before the Lord his God.

There is no witch or ancestral curse that is strong enough to make a mockery of your destiny if your spirituality is strong.

So, if you are with God, be with God. Be real with God.

b. You cannot go far with God and lag behind in life and destiny (Isaiah 37:31).
Progress with God is progress in life. Every step towards God in life equals a thousand steps towards destiny. The prodigal son took a step towards his father and the father took many steps towards him (Luke 15:20).

When we were growing up in the LORD, people thought that we were wasting our lives by serving God. Almost every young man at that time was partying and doing many other things but God arrested some of us very early in life, and many thought it was a waste serving God. Now, this so called “waste” is what brought us to where we are

THE PATHWAY TO WHOLENESS

Confession and forgiveness of sin bring healing.

SCRIPTURE:
Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
3 John 2

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Confession and forgiveness of sin bring healing.

The Scripture makes it clear that it is the will of God for His children to live in perfect health (3 John 2).

However, Satan always devises strategies to bring affliction on God’s children always. And one of the ways he does that is through sin.

Psalm 107:17 says:
Fools because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted
So, to be involved in iniquity is to be afflicted. Sin is a major pathway to affliction.

This means, whatever makes one free of sin delivers one from affliction. Confession and forgiveness of sin, therefore, bring healing.
Now, how does confession and forgiveness bring healing?

The confession and forgiveness of sins deprives the enemy the license to operate.
If for example, you have done all manner of prayer and the symptoms of a sickness still persist, then you can say to God, “Lord, I don’t know if there is a sin in my life. Whatever I have done consciously or unconsciously to open the door for the enemy, whatever I did that broke the hedge, I ask for mercy. I ask for forgiveness. I ask for the cleansing power of the Blood of Jesus.”

When you do this, you deprive the enemy the license to operate. This is because sin gave the devil license in the Garden of Eden for the curse to come upon Adam.

1 Corinthians 15:56 makes it clear that the sting of death is sin. And you know, most times, there is a disease before death. So, the sting of disease and death is sin itself. So, the bite of death is from the sting of sin.

REMEMBER THIS:
Confession and forgiveness of sin bring healing.

YOUR AFFECTION – A PATHWAY TO YOUR DESTINY

SCRIPTURE: Also he built towers in the desert, and digged many wells: for he had much cattle, both in the low country, and in the plains: husbandmen also, and vine dressers in the mountains, and in Carmel: for he loved husbandry. 2 Chronicles 26:10.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: What you love doing is your link to what you would live doing.

It is very important to know that our God is a God of plan and purpose. He does not act randomly; He acts deliberately and objectively. God is not confused about man’s purpose and journey on the earth. God did not create anyone for experimental purposes. He created you not for experiment but for accomplishment. You have a destiny in God, a purpose for your existence.

Now, one of the pointers to knowing that destiny is AFFECTION.

There is a connection between your affection and your destination. There is a connection between what you love and how you live.

In 2 Chronicles 26:10, we understand that because King Uzziah loved husbandry, his cattle multiplied. It is what you love that attacks your lack. Inside what you love can be your favour. Uzziah did not waste his energy on what he did not love. He spent his energy in the direction of what he loved; and as he did that, what he had multiplied.

Today, we have many people struggling on earth and spending their lifetime and energy on what they have no affection for. Frustration is the outcome when you do what you do not have passion for.

Joseph was another person who did what he had affection for. Joseph loved to put smiles on the faces of people. He loved to interpret dreams and that was his link to his purpose.

Genesis 40:1-8 gave us a vivid account of when Joseph, in the prison, interpreted the dreams of the butler and the baker. He helped them out of their frustrations and that was his link to his own destiny. Indeed what you love doing is your link to what you wi

THE CRITICAL DECISIONS OF LIFE

SCRIPTURE:
Philippians 3:13.
Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Decision determines destination. Decision determines distinction.

It has been established that decision is critical to life and destiny. Decision determines destination. Decision determines distinction. Decision brings deliverance. Decision cures frustration.

Now, the question is: what kind of decision is critical to your destiny?

i. The decision to be everything God wants you to be in this life.
This is when you make up your mind, whether the devil likes it or not, whether the ancestral or generational curses like it or not, that you will become everything God wants you to be in life.

Philippians 3:13 says:
Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

You must decide that you will not die a failure and you will not leave this world until you have succeeded. It is deciding to do everything God wants you to do so you can be what you are meant to be.

ii. The decision to know what it takes to be everything God wants you to be in life.
The second critical decision of life is the decision to know what it takes to become everything God created you to be.

Philippians 3:10 says,
That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

You must decide to know whatever it takes to be everything God

SERVICE – CHANNELS, NOT CONTAINERS

SCRIPTURE:
And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said unto her son, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said unto her, There is not a vessel more. And the oil stayed.
2 Kings 4:6

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
God does not bless stagnant ponds. He blesses flowing rivers

Many years ago, my wife and I held our hands together and prayed to God to make us a depot of His Blessing. Our prayer to God was that God should make us the channel where His Blessings can flow through. And God answered that prayer. God’s Blessing has been flowing through our lives to bless many other lives.

PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THIS:
God does not bless containers; He blesses channels. The destiny of a container is limited. In the same manner, you are limited if you are only looking for what to carry or what to contain.

2 Kings 4:5-6 says:
So she went from him, and shut the door upon her and upon her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured out. And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said unto her son, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said unto her, There is not a vessel more. And the oil stayed.

God does not bless stagnant ponds; He blesses flowing rivers. When you make up your mind to be a flowing river to your family members and to your generation, you will never know the end of resources.

Beloved, you don’t need to be a millionaire before you can be a blessing; start from where you are, with what you have. For example, you don’t need to wait to be a blessing to people when you have nine suits to give. You can start with giving out one tie, one shirt or even one hundred naira and before you know it, you will see God blessing you beyond measure.

REMEMBER THIS:
God does not bless stagnant ponds; He blesses flowing rivers.

TOPIC: SERVICE – A KEY TO THE BLESSING

SCRIPTURE: And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. Exodus 23:25.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Service is key to accessing the Blessing of the Lord.

Service to God is a major activator of the Blessing Covenant. Service is key to accessing the Blessing of the Lord.

This is confirmed in Exodus 23:25:
And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.

Serving God with all your heart this year is key to experiencing the Blessing of the LORD.

Ecclesiastes 9:10 says:
Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.

Beloved, if your hand finds God’s work to do, do it with your energy. If you find yourself in the sanctuary to work for God, do the work with all your energy. Do the service of soul-winning with urgency.

Now, how are you expected to serve God? What is the kind of service that is acceptable to God?
1. Service must be done in sincerity (Joshua 24:14).
Serve in truth. Do not be fake; be real. Be genuine. Be authentic. Be sincere.

2. Service must be done in humility (Acts 20:18-19).
Service must be done without arrogance or pomposity. People who are not humble cannot serve God.

3. Service must be done in uprightness and godly fear.
You cannot be cheating at your place of work, lying stealing, smoking, drinking, womanizing or ‘manising’ and then claim to serve God.

Service must be done in uprightness for it to be acceptable to God and profitable to man.

Hebrews 12:28 says:
Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:

HUNGER – A KEY TO INSIGHT

SCRIPTURE: Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
Matthew 5:6

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Spiritual hunger is key to spiritual treasures.

It has been confirmed that it is the knowledge of the truth that guarantees the insight that changes life. There are many people who claim to have known the truth but they have not yet interacted with it. If you have not known the truth like the way a man knows his wife, there may be products you may not bring forth.
The question is, what is it that causes a man to know the truth? How do you get to know the truth? How do you access the truth or the Word of God?
Hunger brings insight (Matthew 5:6).
Hunger gives you access to insight. This is not the hunger for physical food but for the Word of God. Hunger for God and His Word is the secret of insight.
Please take note of this: Spiritual hunger is key to spiritual treasure. Every time treasure must be accessed in the spirit, there must be spiritual hunger that gives you access to that treasure.
One reason why we do not have the same realm of access to the Word is because we do not have the same level of hunger. What people are hungry for differs. That is why we do not have the same level of access to spiritual virtues.

Psalm 81:10 says:
I am the Lord thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.

So, your degree of hunger determines your degree of filling – filling with spiritual virtues, etc.

My counsel is, make up your mind to develop a deep hunger for God and His Word to access His treasures.

REMEMBER THIS: Spiritual hunger is key to spiritual treasures.

ASSIGNMENT:
1. Desire a fresh baptism of hunger and passion for God and His Word.
2. Make hunger for God your first priority in life.

THE POWER OF THE BLESSING

SCRIPTURE: And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. Genesis 1:28.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: When you put a blessed man in a dry place, he will wet the place. But when you put a cursed man in a wet place, he will dry up the place.

From Scripture, we understand that one of the first things God gave man at the beginning was the Blessing (Genesis 1:28).

In the same way, one of the very first things God intends to release upon your life at this beginning part of the year, 2022 is His Blessing.

So, there is a need to understand the Power of the Blessing.

Now, what is the power of the Blessing?
i. The Blessing imparts resourcefulness, result-fullness and productivity to life.
When a man is blessed, he is unusually productive. His brain is always active and functional. Abraham, Isaac and Jacob were productive all-round because they were blessed by God (Genesis 30:30-43).

The brain of a cursed person is closed; his energy does not produce results. That will never be your portion in Jesus’ Name.

ii. The Blessing produces both the irrigation and the fertilization of systems and organizations for productivity (Genesis 30:27).
When a blessed man is brought into an organization, he waters, irrigates and fertilizes the system to make things work differently.

In Genesis 30:27, Laban seemed to have told Jacob, “If I have found favour in your sight, please remain with me because experience has taught me that God blessed me since you came.”

And Jacob seemed to have replied, “It was a little you had before I came; but now that little is turned into a multitude because I came here with irrigation and fertilization.” Gen. 30:30.

Take note of this: When you put a blessed man in a dr

PRAYER – A PLATFORM FOR COMMUNION BETWEEN GOD AND MAN

SCRIPTURE: After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Matthew 6:9

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: It is your prayer life that determines the quality of your relationship with God.

You are welcome to the Year 2022. We are grateful to God for a successful crossover from the year 2021 into the Year 2022. This year shall deliver into your hands unimaginable results, in Jesus’ Name.

It is very important to start the year with God; and one subject that draws a person closer to God is prayer. There is a need to prioritize prayer in your life this year.

Now, understanding is key to actualization. What is not understood can never be actualized.

This means, to pray effectively, there is a need to understand what prayer is all about.

What then is prayer?

Prayer is a platform for communion between God and man.
…our father which art in heaven… Matthew 6:9

Prayer is a place where the relationship between God and man is serviced. It is your prayer life that determines the quality of your relationship with God. Prayer is the place where we can be naked before God and not ashamed; a place where we can give out our secrets and have no fear; the place where we would not be judged for being in need.

There are people who think you are a sinner just because you could not pay your house rent. They judge you based on your deficiency but at the place of prayer, you are open before God without any form of condemnation no matter who you are.

Prayer is the place where a man gets to know and interacts with the God he serves. Prayer is the communication that lubricates the relationship between God and man; it is the communication flow that cements that relationship.

REMEMBER THIS: It is your prayer life that determines the quality of your relationship with God.
