SEEDS OF DESTINY-DAILY DEVOTIONAL BY DR. PASTOR PAUL ENENCHE.

TUESDAY 25TH AUGUST, 2026.

TOPIC: THE DESTRUCTIVE POWER OF NEGATIVE CHARACTER.

SCRIPTURE: The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them. Proverbs 11:3

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Positive character preserves, but negative character destroys.

Character has both constructive and destructive power, depending on the type. Positive character preserves while negative character destroys.

Examples abound in Scriptures of people who were destroyed by their negative character and of others who were preserved by their positive character (Proverbs 11:3).
One negative example was Lot.

He lost his life and destiny on the platform of the negative character of strife, greed, and lack of value for higher authority. God called Abraham, but he brought Lot along. As Abraham prospered, Lot also prospered because he was connected to Abraham. Thus, the blessing upon Abraham overflowed into the life of Lot (Gen 13:5).

However, when wealth increased, strife began between the herdsmen of Abraham and the herdsmen of Lot (Gen 13:7-8). Instead of recognising the authority and covering of Abraham, Lot entered competition and contention with Abraham.

When Abraham offered him the opportunity to choose a portion of the land, Lot lifted his eyes and chose the well-watered plains of Jordan. Instead of Lot saying, “Excuse me, sir, you were the one who brought me out, tell me where to go.

That is, if I must leave you.” But Lot lifted his eyes and saw the area that was well watered and chose it. In other words, “I choose the wet ground, uncle, you can die in the dry land,” not knowing that where he chose was already marked for demolition.

S***m and Gomorrah were already under divine judgment (Gen 13:9-11).
What appeared attractive physically was dangerous spiritually. Greed blinded his perception and pride affected his judgment. Eventually, destruction came upon S***m and Gomorrah, and Lot lost everything he had laboured for.

This shows that when you leave your cover, your cover leaves you. All the investments, possessions, and achievements he had previously gathered in that city were consumed overnight. He escaped only with his life. The same greed that led him into S***m could not preserve what he acquired there.

There are lessons to learn from the life of Lot: avoid strife, contention, unhealthy competition, greed and disrespect for the authority that helped you. Do not bite the finger that fed you. Do not remove the ladder that helped you climb. Do not bang the door you once gently passed through.

Beloved, if you desire preservation in life and destiny, maintain positive character. Walk in humility, gratitude, loyalty, honour, and respect for authority.

REMEMBER THIS: Positive character preserves, but negative character destroys.

ASSIGNMENT(S):
1. Refuse strife, contention, and unhealthy competition.
2. Avoid greed and every form of selfish ambition.
3. Honour and respect the authorities and people God has used to help your life.

PRAYER: Father, thank You for the light of Your Word. Deliver me from every negative character trait and help me to walk in integrity, humility, and honour, so my life and destiny can be preserved, Lord, in Jesus' Name.

SEEDS OF DESTINY-DAILY DEVOTIONAL
BY DR PASTOR PAUL ENENCHE

MONDAY 24TH AUGUST, 2026.

TOPIC: THE PRICE OF A CARELESS TONGUE.

SCRIPTURE: He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction.
Proverbs 13:3

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: If you desire preservation in life and destiny, beware of wrong associations and careless speech.

Scripture makes it clear that loquacity leads to sin. That is why a wise person controls what they say and knows when to be quiet (Proverbs 10:19).

There are people in Scripture who paid the ultimate price for careless talk. Their loquacity led to their calamity. Samson was a classical example. He lost his life and destiny on the platform of talking carelessly to the wrong person, a strange woman called Delilah.

Many people blame only the strange woman in Samson's story, not minding Samson’s destructive act of divulging divine secrets and sacred matters to the wrong person. Delilah pressed him daily with her words until his soul was vexed unto death. Eventually, Samson told her all his heart, thereby revealing the secret of his consecration unto God (Judges 16:16-17). It is a dangerous thing for a person to reveal the secrets of their consecration to a stranger.

It was unbelievable that Samson could reveal a secret that held the key to his life and death to anyone, let alone a stranger. That was more like saying, “In case you are interested in killing me, cut this hair lock." He knew he was not an ordinary man. He knew there had not come a razor upon his head because he was a Nazarite unto God from his mother's womb, yet he divulged such a sacred secret.

The moment Delilah discovered that Samson had told her all his heart, she quickly arranged for his downfall. His hair was shaved, his strength departed, and the Philistines captured him, put out his eyes, bound him with fetters of brass, and made him grind in the prison house (Judges 16:18-21).

The strength of Israel became the toy of the Gentiles at the frequency of revealing a sensitive secret to the wrong person.

Samson revealed the secrets of his consecration to someone who had no business knowing them.

There are dealings between you and God that even those closest to you may not know unless God permits it. Not every secret should be shared. Not every question deserves an answer.

The Scripture declares, He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction (Proverbs 13:3).

Many people have lost opportunities, relationships, assignments, and even destinies because they talked when they should have remained silent.

Beloved, if you desire preservation in life and destiny, beware of wrong associations and careless speech. Guard your heart, guard your secrets, and guard your tongue. The person who keeps his mouth keeps his life.

REMEMBER THIS: If you desire preservation in life and destiny, beware of wrong associations and careless speech.

ASSIGNMENT(S):
1. Avoid relationships that continually pressure you to compromise your convictions.
2. Refuse the habit of excessive talking and unnecessary disclosure of personal matters.
3. Ask God for wisdom to know what to say, when to say it, and to whom to say it.

PRAYER: Father, thank You for the light of Your Word. Deliver me from wrong associations and careless, excessive talk. Grant me the wisdom to guard my heart, my tongue, and my life, Lord, in Jesus' Name.

SEEDS OF DESTINY-DAILY DEVOTIONAL BY DR. PASTOR PAUL ENENCHE.

SUNDAY 23RD AUGUST, 2026.

TOPIC: A LIVING WITNESS OF GOD'S GOODNESS

SCRIPTURE: And their seed shall be known among the Gentiles, and their offspring among the people: all that see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed which the Lord hath blessed.
Isaiah 61:9

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Our success is more evangelistic than our failure.

God desires that His people become living testimonies of His goodness, blessing, and faithfulness. A life that reflects the goodness of God is a powerful witnessing tool to an unbelieving world. There is a way God can bless a person that people cannot deny that the Hand of God is upon such a person’s life.

Our success is more evangelistic than our failure.
Failure has no evangelistic power. No one ever follows a broke person to church so they too can become broke. God wants His goodness to be reflected in the lives of His children so those who do not know Him can see the difference.

Your life can reflect such a dimension of God’s goodness that people will become attracted to serving God because they see you. You do not smoke, drink, womanise, or live an ungodly life, and your life exudes the blessing of God.

Those around you who engage in all kinds of worldly and ungodly practices will begin to wonder. They will ask themselves, "Wait, this person who is serving God is bigger than me, heavier than me, and has more resources than me who is not serving God." At that point, they will be compelled to consider serving your God.

When I rededicated my life to God, the Lord showed me a man who was clean, holy, godly, and blessed. He had resources and was enjoying his life despite his commitment to serving God. The Lord asked me, "Look at this man, what is he missing?" I could not find an answer because the man was missing nothing. That encounter helped me realise that there is no loss in serving God.

Zechariah 8:23 says, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you.
There is something people will hear about you or see in you that will make them follow your God without your preaching.

They will see your marital harmony, family stability, upright life, joy, and peace; they will see that you are not stranded, frustrated, or begging for survival, and this will make them desire to know and serve the God you serve.
God wants you to be a good advertiser of His Kingdom.

Unfortunately, many Christians are bad advertisers of the Kingdom, not deliberately, but because their lives do not reflect the goodness of God as they should.
Psalm 34:8 says, O taste and see that the Lord is good. God is good, and He wants His goodness to be evident in your life.

Beloved, God wants people to follow you to know Him. He wants your community, family, and generation to know that your God is a God worth serving.

REMEMBER THIS: Our success is more evangelistic than our failure.

ASSIGNMENT(S):
1. Make up your mind to be a good representative and advertiser of God's kingdom.
2. Maintain a life of uprightness, integrity, and devotion to God.
3. Trust God for the manifestation of His goodness in every area of your life.

PRAYER: Father, thank You for Your goodness and faithfulness. Let my life reflect your goodness to my world, Lord, in Jesus' Name.

SEEDS OF DESTINY-DAILY DEVOTIONAL BY DR PASTOR PAUL ENENCHE

SATURDAY 22ND AUGUST, 2026.

TOPIC: FAITH FOR SPIRITUAL VITALITY.

SCRIPTURE: Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
Hebrews 10:38

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Faith is central to spirituality; when faith is shaken, spirituality becomes unstable.

Christianity is a walk of faith. That is why it is called THE FAITH.

This reveals the central place of faith in the life of the believer. Faith is not merely a part of Christianity; it is the foundation upon which spiritual life is built. Spiritual strength, stability, consistency, and vitality all answer to faith.

One of the worst dangers to the life of a believer is an attack on his faith. When faith in the reality of God is shaken, spirituality becomes unstable: prayer life becomes weak, fasting becomes infrequent, study of the Word declines, and commitment to God begins to die.

Many people who once burned passionately for God became spiritually cold because disappointments, challenges, and negative experiences attacked their faith. When a person is no longer sure about the reality of God, their spiritual decline is inevitable.

In the same way, when faith in the goodness and faithfulness of God is shaken, spiritual passion begins to decline.

At that point, many begin to ask, “If God is good, why is this happening to me?” Others wonder, “If God loves me, why am I facing this situation?” Some people at this point will stop serving in church, progressively reduce their church attendance and eventually backslide completely.

These are signs and symptoms of declining spirituality.

Throughout Scripture, we see people whose faith preserved their spiritual stability. Job maintained his faith despite severe trials. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego demonstrated unshakable faith in the face of the fiery furnace. Daniel refused to compromise despite the threat of the lions’ den. These people’s faith was not based on circumstances but on the unchanging Nature of God.

The truth is, God is not God because of what He does; He is God because He is God. Whether prayers are answered immediately or not, whether circumstances are favourable or not, faith says, “God remains God.” Faith guarantees spiritual stability, audacity, consistency, health and vibrancy.

Beloved, investment in your faith is the greatest investment of your life. Many people spend time, energy, and resources on many things, but invest very little in their spiritual lives. That is not the right thing to do. Your investment in your faith and spirituality should take priority over other investments.

Never allow what is happening around you to become more important than what is written about you. Though the world is full of the noise of fear, negativity, confusion, and unbelief, let the Voice of God's Word drown the noise of the world. Situations may change, but the Word of God stands forever.

REMEMBER THIS: Faith is central to spirituality; when faith is shaken, spirituality becomes unstable.

ASSIGNMENT(S):
1. Make deliberate investment into building your faith.
2. Refuse to allow circumstances to dictate your perceptions about God.
3. Stand firmly on the Word of God regardless of the situations of life.

PRAYER: Father, thank You for Your Word to me today. I receive the grace to remain steadfast, spiritually vibrant, and unshakable in faith. Let my confidence in You never fail, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

SEEDS OF DESTINY-DAILY DEVOTIONAL BY DR. PASTOR PAUL ENENCHE.

FRIDAY 21ST AUGUST, 2026

TOPIC: LOVE REQUIRES CAPACITY.

SCRIPTURE: But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him. And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him. Luke 10:33-34

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Compassion becomes more effective when it is accompanied by the capacity to meet needs.

One of the greatest proofs of love is the willingness to meet the needs of others. While love begins in the heart, it is often expressed through actions. This is why God desires His children to possess both compassion and capacity.

The story of the Good Samaritan clearly reveals this truth. When he saw the wounded man by the roadside, he did not merely feel compassion for him and continue his journey. He stopped, treated his wounds, placed him on his own beast, took him to an inn, and paid for his care. He even made provision for any additional expenses that might arise.

His compassion was not only expressed as a feeling; it was also supported by the capacity to meet immediate and subsequent needs. Compassion without the capacity to meet urgent needs wouldn’t have helped the situation of the wounded man.

The priest and the Levite who passed by may not lack compassion; they may have had many reasons for not helping. But the Samaritan had both the heart and the means to help. He transformed sympathy into practical assistance.

God desires His children to be positioned as instruments of blessing in their generation. There are widows to support, children to educate, missionaries to assist, churches to build, and lives to impact. Many burdens will be lifted when God's people have both the willingness and the resources to help.

Many believers pray for prosperity without understanding its kingdom purpose.
Financial increase is not merely for personal enjoyment; it is also for kingdom advancement and impact. God blesses people so they can become channels through which His goodness reaches others.

When God entrusts resources to a compassionate person, many lives can be transformed. Opportunities are created, needs are met, and God's love is demonstrated in practical ways.

Beloved, never separate prosperity from purpose. Ask God to give you a heart of compassion and the capacity to express that compassion effectively. Let your desire for increase be connected to a desire to be of greater blessing to your generation. Your Christianity becomes more practical when you have the resources to express the love of God in tangible ways.

REMEMBER THIS: Compassion becomes more effective when it is accompanied by the capacity to meet needs.

ASSIGNMENT(S):
1. Ask God to enlarge your capacity so that you can be a greater blessing to others.
2. Look for someone whose needs you can meet today, either materially, financially, or physically.

PRAYER: Father, give me a compassionate heart and the capacity to be a blessing to those around me. Make me a channel of Your love and goodness to my generation, Lord, in Jesus' Name.

SEEDS OF DESTINY DAILY DEVOTIONAL BY DR. PASTOR PAUL ENENCHE

THURSDAY 20TH AUGUST, 2026

TOPIC: THE HEART OF MEEKNESS.

SCRIPTURE: The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way. Psalm 25:9

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Meekness positions a person for divine guidance, instruction, and wisdom.

The Scripture makes it clear that meekness is a major pathway to the wisdom and guidance of God. Psalm 25:14 says, The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.

God will always teach and guide the meek. Concerning Moses, Numbers 12:3, says, Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth. Moses was one of the wisest and impactful men in the Old Testament. He was the man who laid hands on Joshua, and Joshua was filled with the spirit of wisdom. The wisdom Moses carried was connected to his meekness.

Now, what is meekness?

i. Meekness equals openness to learning. Meekness has a lot to do with being teachable. It is openness to learning. Proverbs 1:5 says, A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:

There are people whose minds are closed to learning. They do not think anyone can teach them, and so they are not open to learning anything. But if you are going to be wise, everything and everyone can be instructive. Proverbs 24:32 says, Then I saw, and considered it well: I looked upon it, and received instruction

Solomon, the wise King says in Proverbs 6:6-7, Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise: This means that everything around him was a source of inspiration and instruction, including the ant.
If the ant can teach a person, then anything in life can become a lesson. No wonder, a teachable person will continue to grow in wisdom and understanding.

ii. Meekness equals eagerness to learn. Meekness is not only openness to learn, but also eagerness to learn. It is the recognition of the fact that one does not know everything. It is the passionate desire to keep learning from God.

Hosea 6:3 says, Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the Lord. This speaks of a continuous pursuit of knowledge and understanding. A meek person never assumes they know everything. They remain teachable, hungry for insight, and willing to receive instruction.

iii. Meekness equals yielded-ness to correction. It is the attitude that says, “Lord, I do not claim to be an expert on this matter.”

In 1 Samuel 16:6, when God instructed Samuel to go the house of Jesse and anoint one of Jesse’s sons as king over Israel, Samuel saw Eliab and said, Surely the Lord’s anointed is before Him. But God corrected him and said, “No, you missed it.” Samuel moved to another son, and again God said, “You still missed it.” And God kept correcting Samuel until David was revealed and brought forth.

Beloved, anyone who is full of himself, his own knowledge and wisdom can easily be set aside by God. Even if a person thinks he knows so much, he must remain empty before God. If God must pour wisdom, instruction and direction into your life, you must empty yourself before Him.

REMEMBER THIS: Meekness positions a person for divine guidance, instruction and wisdom.

ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Always remain teachable and open to learning.
2. Empty yourself of pride and remain yielded to divine instruction.

PRAYER: Father, thank You for Your Word to me today. Deliver me from pride and self-sufficiency, and grant me the spirit of meekness, teachability, and wisdom, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

SEEDS OF DESTINY-DAILY DEVOTIONAL BY DR PASTOR PAUL ENENCHE

WEDNESDAY 19TH AUGUST, 2026.

TOPIC: THE PURPOSE OF FINANCIAL DOMINION.

SCRIPTURE: And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed. And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed. Joel 2:26-27

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Financial dominion empowers us to serve God more effectively and demonstrate genuine love to others.

It was never God’s intention for His children to be victims of lack and scarcity. God desires His people to experience financial dominion so they can serve Him without the distractions and pressures that accompany poverty.

Our anchor Scripture makes it clear that God desires His people to eat in plenty, be satisfied, and praise His Name. When people are constantly burdened by lack, they are more susceptible to the temptation of compromise like cutting corners, acting contrary to their convictions or the will of God.

But when financial burdens are lifted, people can focus more easily on their relationship with God, their service in His Kingdom, and the advancement of His purposes on the earth.

Financial dominion is also necessary for the practical demonstration of love to others. In Luke 10:33-35, the Good Samaritan saw a wounded man by the roadside and did not merely sympathise with him; he helped him. He treated his wounds, transported him on his beast to an inn, paid for his care, and even promised to settle additional expenses upon his return.

His compassion was backed by the availability of resources. His love was expressed through practical action.

Many people desire to help others but are limited by lack of resources. Genuine compassion becomes more effective when it is accompanied by the capacity to meet needs. This is why financial stability is a blessing that should be desired for the right reasons.

Our Christianity was never meant to be theoretical; God wants us to be channels of practical blessing to others. He wants us to support the needy, help the poor, assist the less privileged, honour deserving people, and contribute meaningfully to the welfare of those around us.

There are acts of kindness that only become possible when resources are available. There are burdens that can be lifted, lives that can be saved and transformed, and destinies that can be helped when God entrusts His people with abundance.

Beloved, do not seek financial dominion merely for personal comfort or self-glorification; desire it so you can serve God more effectively, advance His Kingdom, and become a blessing to others. When God prospers you, let your prosperity become a tool for compassion, generosity, and kingdom impact.

REMEMBER THIS: Financial dominion empowers us to serve God more effectively and demonstrate genuine love to others.

ASSIGNMENT(S):
1. Ask God to give you the right motives for desiring financial prosperity and abundance.

2. Look for practical ways to be a blessing to someone today, no matter how small.

PRAYER: Father, thank You for Your desire to establish me in financial dominion. Help me to use every resource You place in my hands for Your glory, for the advancement of Your Kingdom, and for being a blessing to others, Lord, in Jesus' Name.

18/08/2026

SEEDS OF DESTINY-DAILY DEVOTIONAL BY DR. PASTOR PAUL ENENCHE.

TUESDAY 18TH AUGUST, 2026.

TOPIC: GOD'S PLAN OF SALVATION.

SCRIPTURE: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Salvation is not a religious ceremony; it is a spiritual transformation.

From the beginning, God's intention for man was relationship, fellowship and dominion. Man was created in the Image and Likeness of God to reflect His Nature and enjoy His Presence.

Genesis 1:26-27 says, And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness... This is the baseline of how everything started.

However, man fell out of relationship with God through the sin of disobedience. Genesis 3:7-9 reveals that after Adam and Eve sinned, they hid themselves from God's Presence. Sin broke the fellowship and brought separation between God and man.

Consequently, man lost both the Presence and Glory of God and was driven from the garden. Romans 3:23 confirms this reality, For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. Man lost both the Presence and the Glory of God.

The consequences of sin are spiritual death and eternal damnation. Romans 6:23 says, For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. God made man for fellowship, but sin brought spiritual death.

Yet, God did not leave man in that condition. Because of His love, He sent His Son for the rescue of man from sin and its consequences. That is why John 3:16 declares, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son... Jesus came to restore what was lost and reconnect man to God.

By the sacrifice of Jesus, a person becomes saved when they believe in their heart and confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord. Romans 10:8-10 makes it clear that salvation is received by faith in Christ and confession of His Lordship.

When a man receives Jesus Christ into his life as Lord and Saviour, he becomes a child of God and a new creature. John 1:12 says, But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God.

Furthermore, 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Beloved, salvation is not a religious ceremony; it is a spiritual transformation. It is God's rescue plan to restore man from sin, separation and death back into fellowship with Him.

God has made provision for every man to be rescued from sin and restored into fellowship with Him through Jesus Christ.

REMEMBER THIS: Salvation is not a religious ceremony; it is a spiritual transformation.

ASSIGNMENT(S):
1. Examine your relationship with God and ensure that you have genuinely received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour.
2. Share the message of salvation with someone who needs Christ.
3. Thank God daily for the gift of salvation and live as a true child of God.

PRAYER: Father, thank You for Your great love demonstrated through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. I receive afresh the grace to walk in the reality of my salvation and to be a faithful witness of Your saving power. Draw many souls into Your Kingdom through me, Lord, in Jesus' Name.
