My Answer to Saved Once: Saved for Ever.
Without much arguing back and forth, I want the proponents of Hyper Grace to think on these points:
1. God at no point takes away anybody’s free will.
2. You heard the gospel, you accepted Christ, you become a Christian. The Bible says, “Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him,”
Colossians 2:6
You may refuse to walk in Christ as you now agree that the demons know better and have something better to offer.
“But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons,”
1 Timothy 4:1
3. God forcing you to stay longer than you want to stay with Him, will make Him a kidnapper and not a loving God.
4. You may not loose your salvation, but that does not mean you can’t walk away from faith: if you listen long enough to the teachings of demons.
You may agree with the demons that what they did that led to their loosing their rightful abode was good for you to try as well.
5. You may walk away from Christ, He won’t force you to stay.
After all we are children of God by faith in Christ.
“Now the just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.””
Hebrews 10:38
6. Salvation is by grace, but it’s through faith:-
We are saved: Eph.2:8,9
We are being saved 1Cor. 1:18
We shall be saved Math.24:13
7.You can make a shipwreck of your faith by believing that a good conscience is not important;
“holding faith and a good conscience. By rejecting this, some have made shipwreck of their faith,”
1 Timothy 1:19
8. These brother were warned,
They could fall away.
“Take care, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart, leading you to fall away from the living God.”
Hebrews 3:12 ESV
9. As a Christian you may also “fall away” because Christianity carry too much wahala.
10. GOD IS CONSTANT, HE DOES NOT CHANGE HIS MIND: SALVATION IS A RESULT OF COVENANT RELATIONSHIP MADE IN CHRIST NOT MADE WITH ANY OF US IN PARTICULAR.
EVERYTHING GOD GAVE US, HE DEPOSITED IN CHRIST.
IN CHRIST YOU HAVE IT ALL BY FAITH.
11. God gave us eternal life, but He did not deposit it in any of us but in His Son, so if have the Son you have the life.
“And this is the testimony, that God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.”
1 John 5:11-12
12. Opposite of eternal life is not Temporary life, eternal damnation.
There is no such thing as temporary life for beings with souls and spirits.
Satan and his angels don’t have eternal life, but they live forever, so also every disbeliever.
13. Nothing can separate us from the love of God: Yes, but that Love is not in us: see how the verse ended “ which is in Christ Jesus our LORD Romans 8:39
14. I suspect that the reason why God decided to put everything in Christ is because He cannot trust man again. He had an experience with the first man Adam.
The people referenced here were those who first believed in Him:
“But Jesus did not commit Himself to them, because He knew all men, and had no need that anyone should testify of man, for He knew what was in man.”
John 2:24-25
Finally:
GOD IS NOT A KIDNAPPER: HE WONT KEEP ANYBODY ONE MINUTE IN CHRIST IF YOU CHOOSE TO WALK OUT
WHO KNOWS HOW LONG LUCIFER SERVED GOD BEFORE HE WAS KICKED OUT; AND GOD DID NOT STOP HIM FROM REBELLING AND LOOSING HIS PLACE?
