TOPIC: GOD CAN USE ANYONE TO WIN SOULS
When the disciples came back, they were all shocked that
Jesus was conversing with a woman; a Samaritan woman for
that matter.
In those days it was considered improper for a
Rabbi to speak in public to a strange woman. But our Lord
sets social customs aside because a soul’s eternal salvation
was at stake. When the woman left, the disciples entreated
Jesus to eat since they all knew that he was hungry.
Again, they were shocked when Jesus told them about a food they
knew nothing about and explained that doing the Father’s will
that is leading them to salvation, was his real food. Do you
find delight in doing God’s will? (Psalm 40:8).
When the disciples came to Samaria they thought of getting
food to eat but when Jesus came to Samaria He thought of
getting spiritual harvest, and He did! Jesus won an immoral
Samaritan woman she immediately became a missionary and
won the entire village of Sychar! God can use anyone to win
souls.
